Political Discussion
huh? I don't think that this sick depraved act was carried out by MAGA. |
Someone killed him because they didn’t like the things he said. Someone with opposing views felt justified in assassinating him. That is dangerous for all of us. |
| I am devastated. Authorities must find his killer. |

When you make an entire career of spewing toxic comments,, fomenting division and showing hatred toward more than half of America, bad things are bound to happen.
Maybe stop being so hateful, Republicans. America doesn't need that. "Owning" the latinos, blacks, jews, asians, women, non-christians, immigrants, LGBTQ, and anyone who isn't straight, white, male and Christian is destroying America. |
You have no idea why he was killed. |
The irony is that he welcomed debate. This sickens me. |
you have to got to be joking. People who abhor violence are swinging to the side that supports guns and someone who said we have to accept that people will die in order for us to have access to guns? Is this a joke? The right don't want to support healthcare which includes mental health. The right doesn't want to support any social welfare that would help people with mental illness. The right want to allow people with mental issues to own a gun. GTFO |
This. I'm so disheartened by people basically excusing this shooting on this thread. It's shameful and I hope they never have to experience something like this, which is more grace they seem to be willing to extend to his family. Sending prayers to his family and young children. |
Get rid of all these guns. |
Pp is just gloating bc they think it’s funny Charlie was a supporter of 2nd amendment rights. He wouldn’t have changed his position even if he knew he was going to be shot. He was unafraid of stating his views. He knew he was a target. If you were a follower of his, you’d know that. |
Nothing else was working. |
Democrats in MN and elsewhere have also been assassinated because someone felt justified to do that over political opinions. |
Same. I was not overly familiar with this man, and from what I have seen strongly disagree with many of his views, but I don’t like the precedent this sets at all. Violence is never the answer. |
