Newsom’s chances have gone up in flames, literally. The memes would be brutal.

Depends on how the LA protests pan out.

You mean the fake LA riots? lol As long as the Republicans have Fox News no democrat will win.

AOC isn’t happening.

You're correct. Mega Donors do not like AOC's populist rhetoric. She'll get the Bernie treatment until she learns to play nice with big money. I don't like it but it is what it is

Yes the mega donors are lined up behind Josh Shapiro.

It is surprising that Creative Artists Agency CAA has not added politicians to their talent roster.

"Positioned at the nexus of talent, content, brands, technology, sports, and live events, CAA creates limitless opportunities for the storytellers, trendsetters, icons, and thought leaders who shape popular culture. Across film, television, music, sports, digital media, marketing, and beyond, we represent thousands of the world’s leading actors, directors, writers, producers, musical artists, comedians, authors, athletes, coaches, broadcasters, teams, leagues, chefs, designers, fashion talent, consumer brands, and more."

AOC and MTG ought to resign from Congress, sign with CCA, and go on tour. AOC/MTG would draw better than Taylor Swift. Politicians can do better than politics.

If AOC is the Democratic nominee then I'll probably vote 3rd party or whoever the Republican nominee is...assuming it's not Vance.

Policy-wise, I hope the DNC does not simply pick the opposite extreme of what we currently have. I don't want that any more than I wanted what we currently have.

This makes me lol. I guess Ps like this PP thinks that if you say it it will make it true. The protests are turning off more people than they are winning over, or even keeping.

The sorority girl daughter of a ruthless insurance executive who kisses Trump’s ass & a childless shrew who’s accomplished nothing in congress. What a compelling ticket.

Yep, every ad will have Whitmer standing in the Oval Office with the notebook in front of her face, and AOC practically a stripper in a bar.

Worse, though, is Newsom. I've already seen an ad with him saying how fine everything is with LA burning behind him.

Dems need someone new and exciting, and sensible. Someone the echo chamber here at DCUM will hate.

Mega donors won't allow AOC to become the nominee due to her closing the wealth divide and anti-capitalism rhetoric so you don't have to worry about that. Just go ahead and commit yourself to supporting the mega-donor approved nominee. We must continue to make sure pleasing the wealthy elites is our number one priority.

Except Mark Cuban has already said he won't run.

No one in their right mind would run for elected office today. DC is a viper's nest.

Cuban will be 70 years old when our next POTUS takes office in 2029. Why would a billionaire want to spend 4 to 8 years working the most demanding job in the world while in their 70s with father time breathing down their neck? Power and control are important to some elderly people (Trump, Biden) but not all. Most want to spend their last remaining years enjoying retired life with their families while maybe working a little.

Also, Cuban is smart enough to know he would be shunned by our major political parties due to his massive wealth and the likelihood of him not being easily controlled by the money that is currently controlling American politics. Money controlling politics and Federal Government is the primary reason our best and brightest are seeking fortune and fame outside of politics.

That will make her support increase. Why do you think she put out that dance video? Sorry put out by the media as 'conservatives are upset with her dancing'.
