Hundreds of posters here assured us last year there would NEVER be another election again if Trump won. Democracy would die, etc, etc.

Well Trump won. Democracy is presumably dead, as so many here promised.


I can’t understand why people are taking about 2026 and 2028 now. It flies in the face of what so many posters here professed would happen.


Can someone please explain how no one seems to remember this now, just 6 months later?

I disagree that we need a moderate. Republicans cast all democrats, moderates or not, as crazy leftist dems. Since moderates are never seen as moderates anyway, let’s put up a candidate that actually IS progressive.

I agree, but my sibling strongly disagrees, and oddly, it is creating an issue between us. It is a progressive or bust. If I suggest anyone else, he pulls out the daggers. Ridiculous. I and some others did not claim democracy was dead after Trump won. The other side similar tbings when Biden won. 🤷‍♀️

Some Dems claim AOC, Whitmer, and Newsome are moderates, some do not. This is a problem.
