Whitmer sank her own ship with two bad videos. She had a chance, deck erwas d a bit after the first video. The one in the WH where she covered her face??? Ugh. |
I am a Republican in Chicago and I will admit that Rahm managed the city well. He was obviously the brains behind Obama. I also appreciate that he has gone on conservative radio shows and is willing and able to talk off-the-cuff about whatever they bring up. Kamala's inability to do this is what did her in. |
Obama was the brains behind Obama. Rahm Emanuel will be closing in on 70 years old by the time 2028 rolls around. Have we not learned our lesson in that regard? Lastly, the inevitable and unshakable association with Biden is what did in Harris. No Dem nominee had a chance in 2024 after Biden's unprecedented collapse; even if they didn't have the unshakable VP association. |
AOC/Pritzker ticket would be the ultimate combo for the Democratic Party. |
Hoping Talirico and Beshear |
Just no with these two!!! |
AOC yes!, But no to the pasty white guy, we need POC like Wes Moore or Jefferies. |
This thread is hilarious. The Dems have no one…. |
Maybe someone like Mark Cuban will come to the rescue. But he will have a hard time in the primary debates when the liberal base comes after him. |
Having no leader is better than having a leader who ruins the election chances of their party's politicians running in down ticket races. Dems will be able to retake the The White House with just about any clown with a pulse as they did in 2020 but let's all hope a legitimate two term POTUS emerges. |
I am absolutely loving Newsom trolling Trump these days. His posts on X are the best! I would love to vote for him. We need someone who can give it to the Republicans and not ‘play nice’ anymore and AOC and Newsom seem to be it. |
Yes ! AOC will draw the East and Newsom will draw the West. Perfect combo. AOC on top of the ticket though, which will draw women from all over. |
But AOC wants MAMDANI with her. |
Successfully trolling Trump in 2025 is very easy to do. Winning a national election as a politician from California is not. It would take an Obama or Reagan caliber of politician to persevere through the stigma of Californian politicians in our mid-western/blue collar swing states. Newsom simply doesn't have that kind of widespread likability. |
Not a bad idea, I love the guy too, real man of the people. But, then no geographic diversity, which is a plus. He should probably fix NYC first. |
