He should have been there. On the other hand, why stand in solidarity with Bowser, who has screwed this up so royally?? Taint is infectious.

In a month she has lost the FBI and the Caps/Wizards.

How much does the city have to lose before we all admit that the city is collapsing?

This is kind of a nightmare. Follow the money people. The money is LEAVING the city.

She still has the Mystics.

He's not local. He's from Georgia.

The Mayor says that offices are empty downtown and yet the Mayor did not even want the FBI to stay. With the Fed leaving and the Billionaires leaving, the collapse is coming.

Mystics will follow the Wiz. The goal is to have his entire sports empire together.

He is also pissed that DC has not spent any money after his opening the Mystics arena. The city had big plans to renovate the area and did nothing.

They clearly didn’t think through many critical aspects of this project.

I doubt you or the Twidiot have ever been to an outdoor concert. The airport is likely to call and ask them to turn it down so they can hear themselves in the control tower.

They re-route traffic at LGA for the US Open, which is farther than this is to DCA.

Because the grunting of the players is too loud?

Planes taking off are very loud. 140+ decibels loud.

You think that is going to attract artists?

Concerts are very loud. You will never hear the planes.

They were jointly in meetings with Leonsis for the past year. It was announced as a joint press conference today. So, where was he?

Pinto was there, and they dragged out Tony Williams.

This may finally be the wake up call for our extremist liberal council who only care about affordable housing, and loosening up punishment for criminals. A city needs people and investors with MONEY. Crime in Chinatown is way worse than this area of northern VA. I don’t expect we’ll see a bunch of high teens loitering around Potomac yards they way they do in china town.

30,000 more commuters. Great.

They really didn't think this through.

I suppose I will ask. Do the people in the current shopping plaza have trouble talking to each other with all the plane noise?

The FBI leaving is a good thing so DC can develop that entire block into a mixed use building with housing. The problem is DC will require 30% of the housing to be for low income people. That’s not going to revitalize downtown. People with money is always the demographic to lure anywhere to revitalize an area.

They should double the business taxes to make up for the losses. Maybe triple the taxes.

CapOne can be converted to affordable housing as well.
