It's just a waiting game now to see if Juliana cracks and while they prepare their case against Brendan.

She may have been talking to LE but if it was just trying to sell the discredited, implausible lies, not of much use.

Hoping that Joe and Christine and their friends and loved ones get justice.

I think the au pair will crack- either due to her youth, ESL, or bad genes, she isn't the brightest bulb. She will slip.

She posted a photo of her and the husband together on msm. That’s a big slip already and can establish motive for the investigation.

You just bad luck. We have only had positive experiences with our au pairs.

According to Souza, her daughter has lived in the U.S. for two years but had wanted to return home to Brazil. Her visa expired about two weeks ago, but Souza says she just applied for a renewal.

“They are saying horrible things about my daughter, that she only did this to stay in the country, but it’s not true,” Souza said, adding that her daughter had not yet had contact with a lawyer and hadn’t been offered any assistance by the Brazilian government.

I've never had an au pair, if she was applying for a renewal what would be the basis? Wouldn't she have to rematch or could she just stay with her lover?

Never heard of someone shooting someone as a way to "stay in the country" unless they prefer accommodations behind bars. Mom is an unreliable narrator. Much like Juliana herself.

Brazil is likely not going to touch this with a 10 foot pole. She has been charged with murder.

Didn't a neighbor post that she was looking for other childcare work now that little girl in school? So that would not be as an au pair right? Isn't that restricted? What would be the basis for a new visa if not as an au pair? Marrying her would seem the easiest way to keep her in the country unless he is not up for that, she may have been misled on that point. Like Joe was lured and decieved.

Had BRB married her could not be forced to testify against him, right? But he didn't do so.

She has a good lawyer, investment for Brendan. Wonder how soon his will make an appearance in court docs. January is not far off.

Her mom said that phrase a few times, maybe to make it seem more of an employment relationship and divert from the dates. Or could be some language thing. Or mom doesn't know about the Brendan affair. Although if my kid was in another country I'd keep an eye on their socials.

A neighbor posted that the night before Christine, Brendan and Juliana were all at home on Brendan's birthday. Joe arrived the next morning. I've always wondered if the child stayed with au pair the night before and the she says they were out. Likely true as could be verified.

The only thing that mom says that is interesting is that Juliana's lawyer not paid by family or Brazilian help. So, Brendan, unless she has some other sugar daddy.

Mother’s last names are completely in line with AP’s. Portuguese and d Spanis compound surnames take the paternal last name of each parent.

Can you clarify what you mean? Stayed with the Au Pair the night before? Juliana lived in the house. That’s the benefit for being an au pair. perhaps the daughter and the aupair stayed somewhere else that night, so Christine and Brandon could “celebrate” his birthday, meaning, he stabbed her without the daughter being at home.

Are you referring to the photo Juliana put on private IG that is floating around as an imgur link? Not msm but hopefully LE has warrants for it all. They can argue any relationship started after the murders.

I think they are going to try to smear Joe and Christine in death as their strategy. They are not onlhy "the last of the real ones" but saviors and heros.
