Another decent day. Had some cereal with too much sugar but did not overeat and had a healthy lunch with fish and veggies. Exercise is bad because I’m injured but on the mend. Big work day today so need to stay on track.

Yay for both of us for being decent.

Yesterday I was SO hungry. I don’t know why. I just ate so much in the afternoon when I got home from work. I thought I’d had a decent lunch (tried to focus on protein) but I was in a huge hurry so maybe it wasn’t as substantial as I thought. It was mostly healthy food but also some sugar. At least I went for a looooong walk last night.

Today I did better. I was actually so stressed I didn’t really eat dinner, which never happens to me. I actually just realized all I had was some of my kids fruit. I did have a glorious and enormous protein filled salad for lunch. I wish someone would make me one every day.

So far no sugar and I’m going to try to kit that way. Wish me luck these last couple hours. I think I’ll have some yogurt and go to bed early.

Turned up the incline and did a more intense workout to deal with my feelings instead of eating sugar. Did not go to bed early (obviously). Calling it a win (I need one badly tonight)

Hey that’s great that you exercised instead of eating junk food!

Work is crazy (again) so it’s been a mixed bag. I am not overeating. I am having too much sugar though. Also my refrigerator broke so it’s yet another hassle. And probably $3,500 I’ll have to spend.

DH is continuing to decline so I’m getting more premade meals next week which will help.

Exercise has been poor with my injury. But I’ve walked a bit. So I’m pulling a B- over here.

Kate, I’m really sorry your husband isn’t doing well. Sounds scary. I hope you can take care of yourself this week in addition to taking care of him.

I have been doing pretty well. Ate a bit much going out to dinner last night but overall good the past few days. Proud of myself.

You are on a real roll, Alex! Nice job

As for me, let’s pretend the last few days never happened. I’m good today. Nice run, shoulder exercises, good breakfast. Planning salad for lunch. Got a good sleep.

Onwards!

Yesterday was good aside from a bowl of sugary cereal. Today is starting off well.

No problems today. Good workout. Good nutrition. Low enough sugar. Maybe too many calories. I’m so done with work. I can’t keep up. How’s things??

Kate I feel like you and I can’t have a good day on the same day LOL. Yesterday was terrible. I needed to work pretty late and had no time to exercise so I ate my feelings. So made at myself. Today was better. God I’m tired.

That is funny! And I noticed that, too! Being tired does not feel good.

Yesterday was good for me. Good exercise and good nutrition. No overeating and low sugar. My refrigerator is fixed.

Today should be fine. I am getting up to work out.

Well I guess we just proved ourselves wrong! Yesterday was good (though not amazing) for me too. Very little sugar and just a small serving of chips. Lots of fruit and veggies. Just a short round of up body exercise but better than nothing. Going to try and have another one today.

How is your husband doing Kate?

I hope you are doing ok Kate and your husband is well. I had another good day yesterday. I’ve been trying to snack less but not being crazy if I’m starving. I didn’t eat much sugar at all and had lots of fruit and vegetables. I’m hoping to make it to the gym today, that would feel like a big win.

Wow. Yesterday was a mess, but I was in court all day. Was supposed to testify but the trial did not happen so I was just there for five hours. It was a family matter, very tense. Difficult day. I had cookies, cake and ice cream. But it’s over after nearly six years. Thank goodness.

Exercise has been really good.

Im so glad you are doing well! Did the kids adjust to camp?

Oh my gosh Kate, sounds like a horrible day and a long story. Glad for you it’s over!!!!

I did get in a workout- tried a new gym. Might be good! I also ate well and I’m doing ok so far today. Whenever I wear a bathing suit I feel very motivated…

Kids are adjusting to camp, but it might just be a little much for the younger one. He’s just exhausted every day. Oh well. Thank you for asking.

Hi, I’ve been thinking about joining a gym just for some motivation and a nice place to do some strength training. Just hard to spend the money when I have a free community gym less than three blocks away. But sometimes there are several people there and there just isn’t room for more than One or two.

I stuck with my exercise routine for the entire week this past week. The plan is to walk very briskly or jog for 4 miles three days a week and to do a shorter walk plus strength training three days a week and take one day off. I’ve been very proud of myself for doing the strength training even though I dislike it.

Food is so expensive! We used to be able to spend $800 a month and now it’s more like $1100. Insane. We did buy more convenient food than usual due to our issues. I think I’m going to try harder in August and the proposal work should slow down.

I did have a small piece of cake and small serving of ice cream after lunch today, leftover from yesterday’s gorging. But I plan a small salad for dinner and I don’t feel particularly hungry.

My daughter is a camp counselor and speaks very fondly of the seven-year-old girls there. I’ve encouraged her to reach out and be kind to them because everyone likes to be seen no matter how young.
