A fraction of the players are committed at this point. And sites tracking it are more mish mash than that. Any other year gives the actual full recruit year or thereabouts. It's Sept 30. |
I would agree with this. Public school is definitely not as competitive as Private but as you said Club is what gets you recruited. I am curious what Rebels players think having Haight at GC. Does he recruit for his private school kids but not the club? |
Wow, I just wish there was video available of watching you play a sport. Any sport. I would have it on loop and just laugh and laugh. |
Capital Blue + Private School + Good Grades seems to be the magic formula for attending a high academic school (if that is what you want). |
Can someone please disable the repeat button for this guy. This formula is more in line, Average lax player + rich parents not needing a scholarship + never seeing the field seems to be the magic formula. |
I think more importantly Ivies and high D1 (ND/Stanford/USC, Hopkins) are realizing public school girls are not academically prepared for college. |
Sure, that's why ND has 15 publics on the roster and Yale has 24. Not checking any others. And it's why they all carry big football teams. We can only hope your daughter(s) don't turn out as elitist, sanctimonious and unaware of the world around them as you. |
Amen!!! |
Where do you even come up with this? |
How many of those public school girls are from the DMV? One? |
What does that even mean? What do you think we are, Mississippi? You said public school girls are not academically prepared. Which argument do you want to run on? |
You seem to be under the impression that public school girls FROM THE DMV have the same chance as being recruited to an Ivy/high academic school as the private school girls in the area. Look at both ND and Yale's rosters again. Besides one girl from Yale (Langley grad) all the girls recruited from the DMV/Baltimore area were from private schools. |
You can look at the entirety of a discussion by hitting quote and then scrolling up and down. If you are the OP of this one, then it looks like you have the traits I pointed out. And now, we can add on either an easily confused or dishonest chaser. The conversation I was in was in reply to the OP (you?) stating high academics realize public school girls aren't academically prepared. Only YOU are attempting to swerve the conversation somewhere else. And if it WAS you as OP, just own it. |
Public schools don’t prepare kids in the DMV. That’s why people go to privates -Duh. |
That's not what the OP said. Which of course you're aware. And there are lots of DMV public school kids that go to those schools. They get the same education as their lacrosse classmates. Baltimore area, which you glommed on to halfway through your diversion but have now dropped -- I've heard plenty of complaints about over the years. Very possible they don't do as well. But again, DMV wasn't the discussion -Duh. |
