I would love to know how this is true when the public school system in Virginia is ranked third nationally for its rigor. But you take your $60,000 a year in tuition and spend it on buying your kid her grades at a private school so they can go Ivy. I’m perfectly fine sending mine to a poor lonely state college to play.

Unfortunately there is no buying grades at the local schools in our area. The academic rigor is more intense and overall the kids tend to have worse GPAs than their public school peers.

Buying grades? Where is this action I can get in on? Has there been an expose?

They must be selling directly to the students on campus. My daughter, stupidly, does not seem to be participating.

Can someone please disable the repeat button for this guy.

This formula is more in line, Average lax player + rich parents not needing a scholarship + never seeing the field seems to be the magic formula.

Of the 14 Capital players at Ivy programs last year: Over half (8) played every game, one played in 50% of the games, five played in fewer than 50% of the games, and four made All Ivy.

It's the same troll parent that is on rinse and repeat with the obscure stats. Let them be, that's all they have in life these days.

Maybe working night shift? Medical field? The stats that dispute the garbage you post. I like the stats to counter the false opinions/info flying around here. Keep at it stats person. You have friends here!

So the poster citing stats dismantling the OP without editorial comment is the troll, not the one who attacked Capital parents and players with: “ Average lax player + rich parents not needing a scholarship + never seeing the field seems to be the magic formula.” Got it.

If you are paying attention to the 26s, I think we all know which club is winning the recruiting war and it is not because of rich parents.

Which club would that be? You do understand that none of the Ivy league teams give money right? There's no debating the advantages of an Ivy school but from a lacrosse perspective, they aren't relevant.
