28 years old is hwlf way to retirement for an enlisted member of the military.
Please quit referring to this grown man as "young" or "a kid". He is a grown adult. Period. |
The money was in the red bag. Perhaps only $20K was showing because it was partially concealed in the red lined bag with what appeared to be two bundles of cash, one of which had visibly displayed, a white money wrap band. his girlfriend texted him “Daaaamn, I wonder how much it is?” Wallace responded, “40,” to which his girlfriend texted back, “Jesus.” |
Speaking for myself, I am mostly reacting to misinformation being used to paint JW as a suspect. It is odd that wrong, exaggerated, and misleading information is posted and then attempts to correct the record are either ignored or described as vigorous defenses. Moreover, you seem to have reversed the normal sequence of the US justice system in which people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Your post (and some earlier posts even more) seems to suggest that since JW hasn't been given a clean bill of health by authorities, he should be considered a suspect. I think it is premature and unfair to label individuals as suspects unless the authorities have described them that way. |
Grown but quite naive and immature. |

Agree. Why does everybody keep saying JW is so young?
Can somebody post a link to when JW or his father lived in the apartment complex in question and when Wint or any of his close family members (mother, sister, ect.) lived there. I'm not sure if they were likely to have met in the complex or not. |
If a general told a 28-year-old enlisted soldier who just started a new assignment to pick up an envelope and drop it off at his house, would the soldier question the order? |
| WTH, I have so much to do but here I am posting. I know and have worked with a few JWs in my life - big dreams yet not necessarily able to defer the present to reach them. Of course the cops checked him out and may still keep an eye on him - the adage of "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" applies here. I do think a lot of folks posting here, however, have either never worked with high rollers or are themselves yet lack introspection. HKs and drivers wield some power (depending on the HH), but not total power (or any power in some). Like SS, DH and I could get our hands on $40,000 w/o worrying about it - though would take time as the thread has covered repeatedly. The HK may be lucky to earn that in a year. Who knows what JW made at the track - or if he was on a retainer or hourly with SS. One's world can be circumscribed by the money in his or her wallet. They may not even have enough to afford what they lose in bank fees. Sometimes these positions are about saying, "yes" and "what time?" or "before bed?." Many of us on here have the luxury of having an imagination - not everyone lives that life. |
Most of us are here to share ideas based on actual fact. Some are here to speculate outlandish claims based on bias, elitism or paranoia. It is not hostile to point out someone's bias--although it apparently makes you uncomfortable. That is not my problem. Stick to the facts at hand--the facts that are on the affidavit and not some crazy twitter feed or blog you're reading--then we can have a respectful discussion. |
OK, not a suspect. Police are still describing him as a witness but they have strong suspicion that he may be involved due to his on admission of lying about details related to a capital murder. |

Suspect v. person of interest v. innocent/cleared
JW has acted suspiciously, as noted above. It's probably too early to say "suspect." But he's definitely been a person of interest in this matter and, to my knowledge, not been cleared by authorities. Usage of "Suspect" has been pretty loose by both the JW-is-guilty faction and JW-is-innocent faction here. No one knows if he is an actual suspect. His suspicious behavior and the 5/15 search warrant suggests law enforcement may consider him a suspect. Right now, however, Wint is the only suspect and JW is more appropriately considered a person of interest. He'll probably remain that way until new information from law enforcement leads to a change in status. It's semantics, but perhaps we can all agree on this for now. |
gosh it will have to be someone with enormous patience--so not me obviously There was an expert sleuth googler who found the addresses and the dates and linked it all up to satisfaction of the regulars of this blog.

http://www.nate-thayer.com/race-car-driver-linked-to-suspect-in-washington-savopoulos-murder-whodunit/ In this article, the coincidence of knowing each other may not be correct but the dates of residence are. |
No we can't. Because the police have not declared him as a 'person of interest'. |
This 'linked blog' has no known veracity, btw. He's a disgruntled journalist. |
Yes. The most revealing thing about the statements in this blog is that no legitimate news source has repeated any of it even as they all are desperate for anything new to report. |
