| I really want to lose weight, but I literally have no willpower whatsoever. Just wondering if anyone can recommend something that I might be able to stick with. |
| I am WITH YOU OP! I have no willpower whatsoever! Will be watching this thread. |

Exercise. Exerciseexercisexercise.
Also, cook all your food from scratch. If that means making your own cheesecake 100% from scratch vs. buying a cheesecake from the store, always make your own cheesecake. Is it the healthiest option? No. But it will always be better than most of the pre-made stuff you get at a store. I lost 1/3 of my body weight by adding exercise, sticking with it, and upping the challenges as the weeks/months went by. I minimized eating out. I eat TONS of carbs, as I rarely eat meat and don't consume much dairy, besides half & half in my morning coffee. But I stand by the long-term power of exercise. I'm now a very fit, strong, athletic size 4

| Intermittent fasting! |
No no no. Unless you want to ruin your metabolism and look psycho. " want to grab lunch?" "No, I've had 200 of the 500 calories I'm allowed today." |
| OP I've been doing Weight Watchers for a while and have found it helpful. I have tried and tried to do diets, or to have certain foods be "off limits" (i.e. No sweets or whatever) but it's just too hard. Weight Watchers has worked for me so far because it's largely about making choices. |
| Always be working to lessen your taste for sugar and salt. "Lacking willpower" is just craving that which you are use to eating ie, if you eat yogurt, start decreasing the sweetness by mixing in plain yogurt. Hate to say it, but eat as bland as you can. |
| Diet to Go. You pick up the food twice a week. Depending on the plan you choose you get all your meals and have no decisions to make, no portions to control, etc. |
| I agree with the intermittent fasting. Eat dinner as usual, but let that be it until noon the next day. Then eat smartly the rest of the day, but eat a lunch and dinner. I have been doing that for about six months and have lost about 10 pounds. I do watch what I eat for the other meals, though, don't go crazy. |

| Intermittent fasting is great for someone who lacks willpower because you can enjoy everything ... Just not all day long. The people who say no No no as if is so extreme are nuts. There are lots of health benefits to fasting too |

+1 on the "make everything yourself" PP.
I too lack willpower. In fact, I think I have clinical-level binge eating disorder as defined by the new DSM. SO, I am capable of eating 20 cookies at one sitting! But the thing is, if you have to take the time to make those cookies yourself, at home, from scratch, you'll do it far, far less frequently than if you are allowed to eat food from store packages, fast casual places like Cosi, etc. |

I think it depends on when/under what circumstances you overeat and your metabolism.
For me, if I exercise regularly I lose weight even if I eat a lot, but I hear many women say it doesn't work that way for them. I buy the stuff that I should eat, so if I want junky food I have to make an extra trip. I love to eat at night and when I'm alone, so keeping busy in the evening helps me. |
| You have to get over your obsession with food. That's all. |
