Not happening. Plan accordingly.

Are you always so incredibly melodramatic? If so, you should speak to a professional.

I am just sick and tired of hearing kids cry about 2020 on how they wanted to be back at school. They will do anything to he back

Have you been stuck under a rock for the past four and a half years? It is 2025, lady.

Teacher here. If you think we are going back to school Wednesday you are crazy. Watch your kids and be happy for the time you get to spend with them. You will probably be watching them all week

We had to deal with them for 2 weeks this is March 2020 all over again.

They are YOUR CHILDREN. Buffoon.

I think you're the buffoon, reacting to what is obviously sarcasm.

Different poster here. No, anyone who can read has a pretty good idea of what’s going to happen. The National Weather Service and CWG upped their totals this evening. It will be snowing most of tomorrow. There will not be an opportunity to clear all of the streets. There will be NO school on Tuesday.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out school isn’t happening tomorrow either. Even a total bust scenario of 3 inches would cancel school for Tuesday and the lower end of the predictions is 6. It’s not melting at all with these temps. Wednesday is 50/50 depending on how much we get total. I don’t see it canceling for the week unless we somehow go bonkers and end up with like 13-15 inches.

Parents should just prepare now for what they’ll do tomorrow and Wednesday with the understanding Wednesday could be a school day and you won’t need your backup. Tuesday is a given.

Can the teachers use the snow days to finish their development for the new reading requirements so that we can get rid of the remaining idiotic three hour early releases on sporadic Mondays?

No because those trainings and modules aren’t even available to us to work through yet. At least at the high school level - they are being delivered to us on a ad hoc basis on those PD days, they don’t currently exist anywhere for us to access at our leisure. Also most of us left our devices and computers at school over break, even if I wanted to get ahead on those I couldn’t since I didn’t bring my computer home. The calendar is set and isn’t changing because we’re using some of our built in snow days.
