But that's because you still see Trump as so much worse than Biden. Here's the thing, when a party/government can't draw a line at genocide, there is no redemption. I'm sorry. Ultimately, all of these politicians are bought and sold to the highest bidders. Trump will funnel our hard earned tax dollars to his own private interests and Israel. The Democrats will funnel it to Israel. I'm not okay with any of it. -- Harris voter who's sick of the blame game. The buck stops at the person who is running this government NOW. |
Well ok. Now we've heard the insight from someone who can't see further ahead than an inch from their face. |
Yes the week before the election Trump was meeting with the Muslim in Michigan. The Harris campaign was meeting with Michigan Jewish voters to triple down on her support for Israel! This is criminal incompetence. |
PP voted for Harris. PP is just like me, DH, my brother and SIL - all for Harris. She didn’t win despite all of this. You don’t seem to want to consider why. If the bigwigs just decide it was totally because of misogynoir with zero other contributing factors, we’ll just keep into this cycle forever. |
I’ve posted this before and it stunned me too. Why would they do this. It’s beyond incompetence - it has to be. I assume it was trying to send a message to people in Dearborn and other communities to Gf themselves. How could it be anything else? |
Zionist democratic donors were threatening to stop donating if Harris showed even slight empathy toward Gazans. They needed to reassure these donors that she was all in. It's all about the money. That's my point. Trump is a greedy loser who cares nothing about the average American. Biden and Harris seem better, but ultimately their actions show they will follow money over saving lives. |
It's amazing how the person that started this thread is blaming Arabs.
This is a Zionist issue. The Zionist donors in the Democratic party want to ensure Israel is okay even if it Gaza is destroyed which it basically is. 70% of the Democratic party wanted an end to the war but the elite donors did not. The election is over and Biden has still not stopped the war. He created an imaginary 30 day for Israel to allow food in and that passed yesterday and nothing happened. Can we stop blaming poor, powerless minorities and start looking and who really is in charge here? |
The victim game is so played out.
In their own words they knew their power, they knew what they were voting for and they knew the consequences. |
If the poster who said that the campaign deliberately treated Michigan Muslim possible voters with that kind of rubbing noses in shit attitude then Harris and her staff understood the consequences as well. |
Many Muslims were upset about the DEI or affirmative action stuff with the schools. Believe it or not Arabs are white on the Us census.
It’s a strange political situation being Arab American and Muslim or Christian but also white on your ID or college application. I think people need to understand the community has diversities and complexities among race and class that are hard for Americans or even natives from the ME to even identify. For example, are Arabs Asian, white, or African? Is an Egyptian African? According to the US, they’re white. Arabic is also not the only language Arabs speak. Asyrrian is still a language and so is Kurdish. I even know many Arabs who will quietly admit their grandmothers or grandfathers were Jewish but intermarried or converted because they didn’t want to move to Israel and lose their money and land behind in the Me. There are lots of reasons and complexities in this community and just screaming Gaza doesn’t cut it. I guess you’d also be surprised to learn there are even some Muslim Zionists or folks that served in the IDF or US military |
Well yeah, there’s tons of Druze in the IDF. They’re mostly used as cannon fodder. I imagine they too will get ejected from the country eventually. |
The consequence of Trump will be less death of Palestinians but the death of a Palestinian state then so be it. It’s better to be homeless than be dead. It’s better to have a ban than bombs. Ultimately neither Israel or Palestine are in for anything but a grimmer future especially since neither can get rid of the 25 year chokehold Netanyahu and Hamas has had on both of them. The mid 90s is when Hamas and Netanyahu rose from nowhere to the top and like a cat with nine lives, they somehow survive everything despite Israelis and Gazans in a poetic twist of combined fate both demonstrating against their leaders’ corruption last summer 2023 simultaneously less than 10 miles apart. What a coincidence the mass demonstrations stop and October 7th happens distracting both peoples from their anti corruption demonstration summer |
Probably just sterilize. They still need them as cannon fodder and workers because the settlers don’t work and certainly don’t fight |
I can understand why Arabs voted in solidarity for Gazans.
What I don’t understand is why Latinos voted for Trump after the remarks about Puerto Rico and Mexico and why Indians seemingly ditched Kamala for Trump. They didn’t want to see a daughter of India male history? Why is it only the black race that has ethnic pride? Obama would’ve lost in 2008 if black people didn’t vote in droves for him |
Shhh the pro Israel crowd is deflecting blame away from the Israeli billionaires who provided the funding for Trump’s election. It is all the Muslims in Michigan fault. Just accept that narrative. |
