Most Americans agree with Trump that’s going too far and also banning abortion or abortion pills entirely nationwide is also too far

You keep on saying this. This is not a thing. Furthermore, if that's what Trump truly believes, he appointed the wrong judges and joined the wrong party.

Agree. It's a stop gap. Hopefully I'll be wrong, but feeling pessimistic long term, since Dems clearly aren't evolving.

Also agree. Democrats may squeak through this cycle because Trump is such an awful candidate. But until Democrats learn to listen and represent the concerns of working class families I don't see a great future for the party. When the Republican Party is seen as the party of the working class you have a major branding problem. And Kamala Harris is not fixing that.

Trump’s tax laws will result in $3,000 a year more for middle class families while millionaires will get tax cuts. But do tell us how trump is helping the middle class.

It didn’t remove the federal protection of early trimester abortions. It left it to the states and all the states have exceptions for life of the mother so it’s strange people keep talking about ectopic pregnancies . Something that is rare and isn’t the norm in 99% of pregnancies . Most abortions aren’t for medical necessity

It’s like you don’t understand how federalism works? Roe v. Wade was federal protection of abortion in the first trimesters. So, when Roe was overturned by Donald Trump’s SCOTUS picks, federal protection of abortion in the first trimesters went away.

Harris would not pick SCOTUS judges that supported that ruling, and a liberal court (or even a moderate court, rumor is Roberts was deeply uncomfortable…) could restore those protections. That means anyone who cared about this issue will vote for Harris.

1-2 ectopic pregnancies in every 100 pregnancies is not rare. And women are dying of this in forced birther states everyday. “Exceptions for life of the mother” is a lie.

The horse is out of the barn. The laws are passed and SCOTUS has said it’s done.

Asking as a Dem voter: what are the Dems going to actually do? What is the first 100 days plan, here?

Because if the whacko R’s don’t win the top job this election, they will in another cycle.

So what are the Dems actually going to do in the executive and legislative branches to protect what little we have left? I’m not even asking for them to return to Roe. I’m asking how they will govern effectively to protect what’s left, including gay marriage.
