I think people are just excited.

That's not a flex, but whatever.

Wow what's it like to be this stupid

Lashing out at everyone is not a winning tactic.

Not lashing, laughing. Typical maga doesn't even know basic American history.

Still stupidly lashing out at people.

There is nothing "grassroots" about this.

Sorry you don't like it.

I'm a Democrat and I'll vote for whoever the Dem nominee is. I just wish you weren't so embarrassing.

Responding to points on the last thread:

1, many 2020 voters selected Biden-Harris while crossing their fingers that Biden would make it all four years (and certainly not expecting/wanting him to make it 8). It was a “kick the can down the road” election, a tourniquet on the wound to democracy. It was not a referendum on the popularity of either Biden or Harris but on the incumbent.

2, arguing that Harris’s one notable responsibility during the Biden administration was not actually a responsibility is perhaps not the best argument for her supporters to make. If it was to focus on root causes, fine: what did she do in that arena? Did she ever visit the border, or Honduras, or Guatemala, or El Salvador? (Or Europe?) What executive record should voters be evaluating her against?

No it's anything but organic, but that's okay, I want her or some Democrat to win, but I am so over the made up narratives in politics and life in general

Grassroots fundraising numbers would disagree. There was A LOT of pent-up tension and distress by Dems and it all feels lifted.

Okay.

It's not our fault if she sat out some elections.

You are dense. There's never been a presidential election she's been eligible to vote in where a Bush, Clinton or Biden wasn't on the ticket.

Yeah that Biden family dynasty is really something.

Don’t even joke about that. Shudder.

Kamala Harris+DNC raised $81 million in 24 hours.

Of the 888,000 donors who gave to Kamala Harris in the last 24 hours, *60%* made their *first* contribution.

That's roughly *532,800* Americans who went out of their way to donate to Kamala's campaign.

We're gonna crush the fascists. Be scared, be very scared.

Whelp the money starts flowing when Joe drops out. Surprise?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

People are really good at lying to themselves. It's hope and desperation.

Thank you Joe for making this all possible.

Saving this for future use!

$81 million in donations in less than 24 hours given in sums smaller than $200 is certainly grassroots.

Online excitement is nice and money is great ,but we need votes, so if this all turns into votes awesome.

WOOHOO!!!

This is incredibly exciting. I can't vote, because I'm not a US citizen (yet). But this gives me hope.

The Harris campaign said that the $81 million included over 880,000 individual contributions from grassroots donors, with 60 percent making their first contributions of the 2024 election cycle.

No thanks hard pass. I hope they're going to make an announcement for someone else very soon.
