Folks, this is not a bad thing. This means things are getting better.

But they aren’t. Next variant has already reared it’s ugly head and is on it’s way.

It has? What are you talking about?

You're on every thread for every school district. Wacko.

I don’t care about other school districts. I live in MoCo. But seeing what’s happening in VA makes me excited. Let’s goooooo, MCPS! Normalcy for kids is long overdue!!

It's so funny that its only the PARENTS who cant handle masks. The kids are just fine. It's the adults who long for "normalcy" (whatever that even means), because they are the ones who cant adapt to change. Ridiculous.

+ I asked my kids if masks were onerous and they laughed. They aren’t bothered by them.

It's mostly an issue for the far-right extremists.

You can keep telling yourself that. That's all far-right extremists.

But then don't be surprised when we have President DeSantis in 3 years.

This interview with Dr. Leana Wen is worth a listen. She is discussing how one way masking is something that should be considered in schools where hospitalization rates are low. She also says we shouldn't be looking at case rates any longer and that CDC has started to lose credibility. She has made a 360 turn from a few months ago. Refreshing.

Yup that's what I meant. Thanks.

With these numbers it's looking favorable for optional masking.

Leana Wen says we should all do one way masking and that any mask mandates should only be triggered by hospitalization rates.

I think we will in fact be mask optional trim spring break but many families will continue to mask, which is fine.

Oh, we can only hope! He has my vote (for standing up with the GoFundMe issues) and for keeping a check in Biden’s nonsense.

If anything, two weeks AFTER spring break. Some of you all are going to engage in questionnable activities so you need to be masked upon return.

I care deeply about my kids who’ve suffered enough. Kindergartners shouldn’t have been masked in the first place in my (unpopular) opinion. But now that we have vaccines! Hospitalizations are low. Cases numbers are declining. Let’s do this! Other children can still mask if they want to.

1800 Americans died yesterday.

the PP does not care. Maybe if their kid ends up with long covid they will GAF

That’s the whole point of vaccines - we can do whatever we want and pose no risk to anyone else. Yay for science!

He won’t, thanks for the concern! It’s less common with omicron and anyway we are all vaccinated. You should be too!

We should be balancing harms. How well do they work? What is the harm they really reduce? What harm do they cause? It’s time they came off. It really is. The kids have been really great but they’ve paid a high price. Not worth it anymore. Experts slowly coming around.

Hey xenophobe, check out China and other Asian countries who have been doing it for YEARS
