Oh look, they're bringing up the same discredited Manhattan Institute BS again.

Meanwhile core inflation in November (0.3%) came in higher than October (0.2%). Wonder if this is more Manhattan Institute BS?

Oh my god, a tenth of a percent! Meanwhile, CPI is down again (but you decided not to mention that because you're a hack).

What would the GOP do to rein in price gouging, since that’s what this is.

I haven’t see a any proposals on this, plus Trump wants tariffs on every import which will raise consumer prices even more.

They would encourage it because price gouging helps the rich and hurts the poor. That's their policy preference every time.

22 straight months of unemployment below 4% is now the longest stretch in 54 years.

The late 60s had a 27 month stretch. Looks like we have a good shot at that, unless that recession people on this board have been predicting for 3-years decides to finally show up. The economic numbers are very positive right now so that record is in danger.

So inflation is still outpacing wage growth?

The cited metrics were for the month. In a broader timeline, wage growth has exceeded inflation by about 1.5%

+1 and over the last three months, wage growth is beating price growth by 2% annualized for mid/low wage workers.

The CPI is down because the removed items they used to have in it.

Reality is it’s rise 3.1 the last 12 months

Biden’s America

You are complaining about price gouging.

The GOP voted against a Biden anti-price gouging bill.

But it's Biden's fault.
