AS things open, we all get to make our own risk assessment. Sounds like you will be staying home. My family won't. |
Where exactly do you think you will be able to go? Really? You’ll be taken off house restriction like a teenager, but many places are not going to be back up and running the way people expect. Any outdoor spot will be more over run than now. |
| this is going to be a very depressing Memorial Day weekend. time for nova to get on with it. |
NOVA needs to remain closed. The rest of the state can follow the governor's orders. |
Ha. Sorry Jan. We’ll be reopening soon as well. |
Except for the part where NOVA isn’t opening...As recent statement says “at least” until May 29th. |
| tysons corner is open now. About 20+stores were listed as opening today including Nordies, Llbean, altr'd states. Mall is updating website as more stores open up. |
How are they opening? Nova isn’t phase 1 yet. |
Many were opened as of last Saturday, May 16. Sorry to burst your bubble. |
It’s not legal. I’m surprised. Are they letting people in, or are they “open” as in staff is in cleaning and doing concierge retail? |
Here’s the thread on Tysons Mall reopening: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/881795.page |
No one goes to malls, especially now. I don’t get the “haha we’re opening!” attitude. People have acted like selfish imbeciles since this began. I guess now they can do so in stores? So what. Some will die and we’ll be shut down again in the fall. Good work, you proved a “point”! Not to mention that normal life as we remember it isn’t coming back just because some bureaucrats decide things are “open.” |
| I don’t understand how the mall is opening. |
+1 |
I too went out and screamed at coronavirus’s manager that it’s Memorial Day weekend and time for it to stop now. I do expect results. |
