Here’s a good article from WTOP and some photos of what the mall is doing:

I was so excited to get email about LL Bean opening today. It’s crazy, but it just makes me feel like like things are a bit closer to normal. I want to buy a large outdoor blanket and some new basic tshirts.

Yay!! I’m as liberal as they come, but I have two tween daughters and hearing that Tyson’s is slowly reopening makes it feel like this ice age is starting to melt. Thank you for this good news.

I was very happy with Nordstrom’s curbside pickup at Tysons. Hopefully they’ll be next to open.

I'm confused. I thought they extended it so that stores were to stay closed through the end of the month?

Was just going to ask this too.

I’ve successfully social distanced from shopping malls since 2004.

I don’t know why, but these stores are open. LL Bean opens at 10 am, the other mall stores open at 11 am.

I don’t get the mall hate. Everything I buy online never fits or is a cheap piece of crap. It’s so much better to try it in and then move along if it doesn’t fit.

+1. I really avoid buying anything online if I can help it. I will only order online if I can return it to a brick and mortar store.

What does being liberal have to do with you having two teen daughters and wanting to go to the mall? Most liberals don’t like the mall?????
