Yes, I just read that they sent a letter to Governor Northam stating that they will not be participating in the reopening on Friday.

My salon owner sent out a message last week that she would be opening on Friday for appointments only, masks required, and she would prefer no children to accompany anyone during their appointment. Only 4 of the 8 stations are being used and she detailed their cleaning process after each patron.

I have an appointment for next Saturday but now I'm wondering if I'll have to cancel.

Parking lots are still closed. We are still supposed to only walk trails that you can access on foot or bike. Police are actively ticketing cars parked in safely.

unfortunately, we have hit the bad combo of people undergoing some level of discomfort for 8-9 weeks by mid May AND the start of summer. It is going to be impossible without Spain style “it’s literally illegal to leave your home u less it’s for food” lockdowns to keep Americans inside in summer. We are a selfish country and don’t withstand any level of sacrifice gracefully. Basically, it’s the worst time of year to try to keep selfish Americans inside and they’ve already given their constitutions can by now. An open state isn’t any safer. It doesn’t magically remove eye virus. Unless you are also willing to work out of the hone, mixing in with others your needs and opinions are irrelevant. We have no handle on safety and it’s wrong headed to expect that you’ll come out unscathed if exposed. It’s a game of roulette how this thing will pass through your body.
