Fairfax County GT/AAP Appeals.

Don't mention Kumon. It can't help, and could hurt.

I agree.

Please let me know the changes on appeal for my Dc.

FSIQ 99.6% GBRS 16

PP, if this is real I am shocked and disappointed in how the process works. Why would a child with perfect scores not be in AAP in the 1st round? What a shame!

The only way 21:54 is real is if NNAT & FXAT were really really low.

AAP result will sent on June 28th.

I am not 21:54, but it is possible. My DC has FSIQ 99.8% and GBRS 16. FXAT was low. I have already submitted the appeal.

Sorry, no puppy or explanation. I didn't bother prepping DC. Didn't bother making sure DC got a good night sleep. I am sure DC didn't get a healthy breakfast that morning. It is what it is. I am not going to obsess over it.

How low was it? I thought gbrs 16 overrode everything.

So I've been looking at the AAP program in great depth and it seems to me that it is nothing more than modern day busing. The FCPS has not been able to provide me with acceptance/rejection by school - I think this data would shed some light on whether the GBRS ratings are skewed. It would also shed light on whether kids in certain schools are more likely to be accepted into AAP. I've also inquired of the school board the latest SOL tests for AAP Level IV center schools - broken out by AAP Level IV students and all other students. Why this information is not publically available in School DOE Report Cards I do not know. But it shouldn't be this hard to find the data.
