Similarly it would have been good for the girls to all get to play with the team they committed to. Honoring commitments
speaks to character and integrity. Scouts and coaches are paying attention!

We honored our commitment…to excellence.

Enjoy Brave 2.0 and the commitment to mediocrity.

Comparing FVU to mediocrity is an insult to mediocrity.

Says the player who relies on following her club coach to succeed because of her lack of talent.

This is 💯!!!

Is the trainer crossing the river too, NEED him!

Who is the trainer?

FVU Karen trying to tank girls’ seasons because they decided not to play with little Sally, and the families that left a club after 3 years torching their club of 2 months ago…. Trying to tank a whole U16 girls season because they left your club is a very bad look, but so is trashing the club you voluntarily decided to leave. You people need help, or go back to SYC where this nonsense is normal.

I need help after trying to comprehend this clusterf of a post.

Whatever! Get over yourself… you have no dignity or character yourself
idk… you literally signed the papers. Gotta honor the agreement. Funny thing is a conversation might have helped avoid the drama. Maybe fvu would have it in their hearts and wallets to do a straight up player swap ? Is there such a thing as?

No one wants to play for FVU. We have 35 pages about a club trying to force players to play where they don’t want to play. I’m going to be Brave and say, I can’t think of a more pathetic organization.

But it is ok for players to leave for other clubs right? The agreement doesn’t matter for the players going to VDA, Arlington and MD United?

they didn’t sign because of late md tryouts and/or had conversations about possibly requesting releases and held out. Some players have leverage and/or parents that are ok having open conversations with these clubs. Some probably got offers in playmetrics that they never signed. I know we did that w our DC. Its a gamble on your self/kids but if they can roster up to 30.. doesn’t hurt to wait IF ur kid is in demand.

Regardless its respectable to have conversations w clubs. No different with us and jobs.

uhhhh from what i read the club moved on and filled those roster spots. Sounds more like they are out to make an example/get some relief from ECNL from How it went down. My $ is on the kids being on that BSC roster. But it will come w a high cost

Look at what happened to PDA last season for abusing the Discovery player rule. All games were forfeit and the team did not go to playoffs despite its record.

If I had to make an assumption I think we will see the teams that are in question, likely be ineligible for Playoffs/Showcase at the end of the year. On the bright side, at least families will save thousands not going. On the ugly side, that event is a major event for college recruiting which sucks for 09s, 10s, and the very top 11s.

Tough situation for ECNL teatering on switching to GA. Rumors are already swirling about PDA being fed up with ECNL heads as well.

My other assumption is nothing will be done. Too much to risk if ECNL wants to keep Bethesda girls and not add another enemy like PDA.

Being outside the box, I find this situation VERY intriguing!

Playoffs next year are half the size they were this past year. It will be impossible for the 09 team to make them. The 08s and 10s have a greater chance, but it's still very difficult.

Respect the REV! Will give FVU 09 all they can handle this weekend.

LOL, FVU 09s will be better than last year. VRSC is a joke anyway.

What say you clown! You guys got out of here with a lucky tie 1-1. REV should have won. RESPECT THE REV!

Players that want to be released will be released. No one can hold them but they can be held to the financial agreement they entered into. There was an open tryout period, they were made offers, they accepted their offer and they were registered. Mass departures comprises teams and financially hits a club who has no recourse as tryouts were in the spring.

There is a way of doing business in the ECNL
Someone mentioned 35 pages about FVU. I'm sure there are 35 pages of how ECNL rules were broken here. Even if players don't go to BSC, they were influenced by coaches who were on the FVU payroll to leave the club.

Players will be fine. It would be a shame if they left for BSC and then BSC becomes a GA team next season.

It's all in the hands of ECNL now. What remains to be seen is what the ECNL does with all the information.

Sounds like a desperate person grasping at straws! And conveniently forgetting the mass recruitment violations by BSC of more than half a teams starters, and that's just only on 1 team!

The ones who are worth it will be welcomed back next year when BSC goes GA. The carousel will continue. This is only an issue for BSC folks shitting their pants waiting to hear their punishment from ECNL. They started the thread and they will continue it with FVU bashing. Why punch down if your product is so amazing? Hmmmm…

the rule book says sanctions suspension and or forfeiture

Ecnl blinks enter transfer portals/mid season swaps.

My $$ is on the commissioner going PDA on a certain club.
