Might they change to a closed day this late ?

No. Hope your lessons plan are done, you're working today.

The teacher hate is so ridiculous on this site.

For my fellow teachers: thank you for what you do and have a good day today. You’re appreciated by most and despised by few. Unfortunately, those few all reside here on this site.

Someone told you to do your job and that means they hate you. Got it.

It's too cold to teach! I might be moderately uncomfortable as I prepare for my commute! That's not fair! And surely you don't expect me to wear appropriate footwear.

Do people mock you and your profession, without cause or reason? Do they blame you for things that aren’t remotely in your control?

If so, I’m sorry. It stinks when people treat you with little respect, especially when they don’t even know you or any aspect of your job.

Know I would never do that to you.

Teachers are mocking other professions?

Schools are child care and they've functioned as such since the first public schools were established.

Also keep in mind that MCPS/Taylor prevented before/after care programs from opening on-time.

False. People are really unclear about the history of public schools in the U.S.

It's sometimes hard to tell if they're being serious or mocking themselves.

Did you know there are other countries that had free schools before the US?

And yes, its true in the US, too.
