Takes one second to change the IG account name.

ha ha, knew that one was coming. Sure it has ecnl listed but they aren't going to remove it while they are still in the league and no announcement has yet been made. If they were staying, they would have added it on the post and in the description mentioned how great ecnl is. The description of the post is very vague an not mention of league.

Don't conflate laziness with intention.

Eh, NVA is very articulate and they make their posts with intention.

It is an ECNL ID camp. Call it what it is. If they know this is a topic of discussion, why make folks wonder.

Union also posted theirs without any ECNL branding.

Obviously you don't know their leadership well then.....

no its something DS started at Valor to make parents think there kids were on a pathway to be selected. In the end its mostly loudoun kids and kids hand selected by the TD

How many kids from neither Loudoun nor Valor end up on NVA teams? Does being on a Valor team give a kid any sort of inside track to making an NVA team compared to a kid from outside either club? Obviously they are looking to put together the best teams they can, but wondering if things like internal ID sessions and coach input help a kid get extra consideration compared to someone who just shows up at a couple of practices or at tryouts.

I'm curious how this works for any ECNL club that has an "alliance", not just NVA.
For Valor, it’s getting better each year. Definitely some growing pains. 2013s have weekly joint practices between clubs and other items for shared looks. NVA select has valor and loudoun kids based on skill. They practice with ecnl occasionally. No clue about other clubs.

So is it the top 2013 teams from each club practicing together? And that is separate from NVA Select?

They occasionally have a NVA ID with both teams. But 99% of the time they are separated. If you are interested in NVA join loudoun. Alliance is a farce.

The money is on MLS next. ECNL slowly starting its demise. NVA is about to bury VRSC forever. Nothing team Deutschland can do about it.
