Shhhhhh. I love it when anti vax idiots name themselves look even dumber. |
If it were all for money making, they would not be promoting preventative care. |
They don't, but you do, right? ![]() |
I think RFK is as nuts as anyone, but I also think Kamala made a huge error by not even talking to the guy when he was going to drop out.
I don't think she would have even needed to promise him a cabinet position, just a seat at the table that she was promising other individuals who she disagrees with. I think he honestly could have made the difference in the election which is sad on so many levels but also true |
When Michelle Obama wanted to make lunches and food healthier for Americans, the right loss, their ever-loving mind calling her a communist and wanting to take away their choice.... I believe they said the obamas were trying to make a big brother state where everyone had to eat like them |
I am the PP and I support everyone's choice to make whatever dietary decision they want for themselves. I think it's profoundly stupid to follow the carnivore diet, but you have the freedom to make that decision. |
RFKJ thinks children shouldn't eat any grains. Do you think that's making food healthier? |
Vaccines have eliminated and vastly reduced the incidence of a number of serious infectious diseases. before the vaccine was developed in the 60s, one hundred percent of the population got measles. Most recover but there are deaths and very very serious outcomes for a percentage of those infected. |
I think it was already too late by that point. The “crunchy,” alternative, vaccine skeptic, supplements for everything, unusual fad diets will cure every illness (not diet used in the sense of calorie restriction/going on a diet, more in the general sense of “what you eat”) etc. segment of society has already moved too far right. Or too far left and no longer even votes for Democrats. She wouldn’t have picked up too many voters even if she had brought Kennedy on board. They were all for Trump instead. The Covid response and vaccine had a lot to do with accelerating this trend. |
The "rich libs" already eat healthy. The high rates of morbid obesity are in the red states. But to you, cartoon > actual data |
They don’t even think about all this. 100 years ago we had a bunch of “schools for the blind” and “schools for the deaf,” why? Because childhood illnesses - measles especially - left a small proportion of children permanently disabled. Measles also had a death rate of around .1%. |
One hundred years ago? The infectious disease scourge is way more recent then that. Every boomer and most Gen X know people that were permanently paralyzed in some part of their body from Polio. I knew a half a dozen polio victims with permanent paralysis. |
Look at this recent episode. Measles does not fool around.
There was a disastrous epidemic in 2019, when measles spread rapidly across the small Pacific Ocean country of Samoa. Of Samoa’s population of 200,000, more than 5,700 were infected and 83 died, many of them young children. Hospitals were overrun, and the nation declared a state of emergency. To stop the outbreak, Samoa launched a massive vaccination campaign. The island nation had a lagging measles vaccination rate of only about a third of infants, plummeting from 90 percent in 2013. |
They complained and it was one of first things Trump got rid of even though it was beneficial to children. So hypocritical that we now need to change our diets based on RFK Jr's opinion.. |
Measles is bad. And know that you cannot even vaccinate your infant until they are fully 12 months old. Keep your babies far far away from JFK Jr. |
