Would legit love to hear how Biden (or anyone, for that matter) would have handled it better.

I'm not a public health expert - but probably, for a start, by not ripping up the pandemic response manual, disbanding the pandemic response team, not telling people that COVID was NBD, not telling people to shove sunlight up their butt holes and inject bleach, not being such a weird clown all the time, not politicizing it to high heaven, etc.

I think you misunderstood the post you responded to. That person agrees with you (and me) that Trump was an abysmal failure.

^ But you know, if you think he did such a great job, and he thinks he did such a great job, have him go and campaign on how he handled the pandemic! There's a million voters who won't be there to agree with him. But surely you and he are not the only ones who think he did a good job and should get more credit for his excellent response.

I don’t know what the Harris campaign wants for the debate but I don’t want either candidate playing off an audience. A town hall format is better for that and my understanding is that this is not a town hall style debate. I also don’t know that Fox would select an audience with an even split of liberal, neutral, and conservative voters.

Town halls always seem staged. You can’t really stage large audience reactions. I think it will be a welcome change.
