lol. Sorry pal. He had already served 4 years and things were pretty damn good during his term as compared to Biden/Harris.

Lol. He was a disaster. Totally fell apart during COVID crisis.

Almost none of his former cabinet supports him.

And he has never won the popular vote.

Like it or not, Trump has a point.

Let’s see who the coward is now. If she’s not willing to debate with Fox as the moderator she doesn’t have the chops to be president. Complain all you want about Fox but it is as much a legitimate source of news as CNN is.

No it is not. Do you not recall their defense a few years ago was that they are an ENTERTAINMENT network not a news network.

CNN is much closer to a legitimate news network than Fox News and MSNBC are. Fox and MSNBC have a toxic agenda to divide the American people based on half truth "news" and commentary. I've lost respect for people that watch those garbage networks.

That is total BS. CNN was active in pushing the Russian collusion nonsense. Fox actually got that right.
And CNN’s viewership is in the toilet because of their coverage of stories and their LACK of coverage of other stories.

Apparently Doug Emhoff can’t pull out of anything.

The world was more peaceful. The economy was better. Our border was more secure. Consumer confidence was higher. #facts.

Trump was right about some things and wrong about other things just as is the case with all POTUSs. It's what trump didn't do that all other US Presidents would have done that clearly demonstrated he does not have a level of integrity necessary in a POTUS. Per the testimony under oath (you know, when people are forced not to lie) from his children and closest staff members, Trump, for 2 hours, ignored texts and phone calls from his closest inner circle of people that were begging and pleading for his help as a mob of hundreds has breached security at the US Capitol Building. That's right; a sitting US President sat in The White House and did nothing for hours as hundreds of unvetted people were roaming the halls of our nation's Capitol Building illegally after breaching security. You can say all you want about some of the not so great policy positions of the Dem Party but integrity is more important than policy and Trump absolutely failed the American people due to his lack of integrity. How do you expect anyone with an IQ over 90 to vote for Trump considering his failure to act as Commander-in-Chief when he was needed most? Would any other POTUS in our history have failed to act in that moment? Of course not!

Yep. And Bret Baier and Martha McCallum are two of the best. If Kamala does not agree to a debate it will prove that they are trying to keep her hidden so she won’t have to answer any questions.

And she can respond that she'll work with his team and Fox to set up a debate date and associated terms. Trump has zero power to unilaterally declare date, location, and terms.

My point is that clearly 'having the chops' is not the standard anymore. Trump has the chops for nothing but conning people. I think Harris is smarter and cares more about living things than Trump, but I don't love her either.

It doesn't matter. The debates, if there are any, won't matter. It's about turnout in a handful of states.

If “pretty damned good” is empty shelves and a crashed economy,” then I hate to understand what you consider to be bad.

I especially liked the part of his presidency where he botched the Covid response and 300,000 old people died

Would legit love to hear how Biden (or anyone, for that matter) would have handled it better.

What did he say upon returning to the WH after he nearly died at Walter Reed? "Don't fear covid"?

That was pretty stupid and not helpful.

Tweeting at the Governor of Michigan: OPEN UP THE STATE was stupid and not helpful.

I'm not a public health expert - but probably, for a start, by not ripping up the pandemic response manual, disbanding the pandemic response team, not telling people that COVID was NBD, not telling people to shove sunlight up their butt holes and inject bleach, not being such a weird clown all the time, not politicizing it to high heaven, etc.

^ But you know, if you think he did such a great job, and he thinks he did such a great job, have him go and campaign on how he handled the pandemic! There's a million voters who won't be there to agree with him. But surely you and he are not the only ones who think he did a good job and should get more credit for his excellent response.

I think you misunderstood the post you responded to. That person agrees with you (and me) that Trump was an abysmal failure.
