Let's guard against over confidence because it's still a very tight race. She is getting a huge bump now but there is such a thing as peaking too early. The next 100+ days cannot be taken for granted. Above poster is right that she should show up and and answer questions. Actually, this would be ideal because she wouldn't be bothered by his machinations!

Truthfully debates are VERY stupid. They are almost always poorly run, they cater to stupid questions and stupid answers, they are rehearsed and rarely tell you about a candidate that wouldn't be well delivered in some other way.

The Biden one was one of the few debates ever that really mattered.

Just have a non-cable news reporter ask the questions.

I would love Hot Ones Presidential Edition—I'm a journalist and that's an incredible effective tactic to break through media training/scripted bullshit. I wish I could make the people I interview eat hot wings before they take my questions. Kamala would do it too—I bet she can handle spicy food. Trump would never agree to it. He hates spicy things or any preparation he doesn't recognize. He would probably also poop himself. Notorious weak stomach.

Because he didn't say "I'm happy to do it once she's the Democratic nominee", it's because he said it in a totally batshit crazy way.

Also, she has it so sewed up, that it doesnt' matter if she gets to the convention before you debate her, but it's a good reminder that Biden worked him the hell over by tricking him into an early debate and then waiting until he had picked Vance to drop out...
