You are spot-on. |
| New Yorkers. |
Even when the kid isn't interested in the mom's event, like be wants to go to a friend's house or play with Dad, these moms still have to make it about themselves and either how this ruins their plans or will make them even more tired because now she's gotta go to the park too. And we're like who invited you. The guys are going to play ball. But little Johnny had a piano practice later and she doesn't know if dad will remember when though it's on his shared calendar and she just texted the address to him |
Really? I think they are interesting, engaging, and tend to be great storytellers. The only people I know who do not like New Yorkers tend to be those who have spent little, if any, time in New York, sadly. If you are not a city person, I get it - but New York people don't call you Country Bumpkins - so don't fault them for being born and raised somewhere else, because then it suggests you may hate yourself. DC is not the only place in the world, try to explore more places. |
| The people who are 1/24th Italian - couldn't even trace back to an Italian relative if needed but yet - I am NONA, I have pasta every Sunday when every person must come to NONA's for the meal. NONA's traditions trump everyone else's life. Yet NONA never goes to Mass. |

Running a marathon Traveling, especially to places like Costa Rica or Iceland or Croatia , like everyone else in their 20s, but pretending like they are so unique |
So the majority of the country doesn’t like New Yorkers then, probably. Based on this post. |
This is so funny because New Yorkers are the ones who think nowhere exists outside of New York. And that people born and raised in what they call “flyover” are lesser . I want to say to each and every one of them- hey, manhattan is not the only place in the world! Try to explore more places! |

They like a lot of places, globally. They just tend to sneer at most of the US outside of a few major cities, but they are generally passport holders who travel a lot ("unlike the rubes in flyover country...
