Penn State people - I swear I've never run into Penn State male who didn't let me know in 0.07 seconds that he's a PSU grad. Usually it's about football but often just need to name drop a school, which is so odd given that it's just a flagship state u - people go to them in all 50 states.
Personally I LOVE the ones who'll justify that Penn State is better than or comparable to the ivys. Or how they'd much rather go to Smeal than Wharton because Smeal teaches you how to be a real businessman not a finance drone or whatever. It's like uh insecure much. FWIW I neither went to Penn State, nor Penn, nor any other ivy so no dog in this fight just something I've noticed. |

OMG. Yes! |
Omg yes. I mean lots of people go to UNC or U Georgia or Ohio State and while it may eventually come out that they went to a huge flagship school that’s playing in some football or bball national championship, you’re right it’s never in the first 1 second like PSU people. |

what are NNT parents? |
People who become evangelists for whatever diet they’re doing: keto, vegan, 30 day cleanse, etc., talking like converts about it, but even more boring. |
Never met a furry. I would like to talk to one. probably only once though. |
People who can’t shut up about whatever fashionable fitness craze they’re obsessed with - Pilates, Soul Cycle, Orange Theory, Peleton |
Basically a cult. Normal "dog people" don't do this. They're also the least inconsiderate owners who basically challenge you to not want their off leash dog approaching your dog or your kids. It's sick. I have two dogs who are great and well trained, but they are firmly leashed and polite everywhere. It's always the Pit people who feel like rules don't apply to them. And...they may shout this nanny dog BS, but they're also real quick to be like, "eff you for telling me to keep my dog on a lead. They could tear your dogs and kids to shreds in a second!" Trash. |
I’m from PA and I assure you, it’s all about the football. I’ve never heard anyone talk about academics. |
