And yes, if you voted R, you are a DUMB WOMAN.

Calling people stupid is not a great motivator. I get it, I’m furious too. Most women who vote for Republicans will never change. But 1/3 of Americans don’t vote. Look at the midterms where CA and NY LOST seats. It wasn’t gerrymandering. It was because women in those states didn’t feel the threat. States with bans saw a larger turnout, it just wasn’t enough to overcome the gerrymandering and voter suppression in those states.

We are all at risk and we all need to vote like that. we need to educate and motivate more people to vote.

So stop calling people stupid and get involved or donate to mobilize people to vote and elect Pro Choice candidates.

Facts matter. These women are the charter members of the Leopards Eating Faces party. They need to own it, admit their folly and take action to change it.

NY was absolutely gerrymandering. They had the dumb luck to get a republican court drawn map. The court of appeals has weighed in and the districts will be re-gerrymandered in democrats' favor

It wasn’t that bad. Dems dropped the ball because they bought the red wave crap. Those elections were CLOSE.

Who are “these women”? Kate Cox? Are you saying she voted for Republicans?

Again, most women who vote Republican don’t care about the women suffering. Forget about them. Find the non & occasional voters. There are way more of them than Rs.

Actually this is a great way to get the young voters out. Typcally the 18-25 age group is the most underrepresented group in elections. But that age group (both men and women) are the most affected by this decision. So hitting the college campuses and working to get out the young vote will be critical to help shift the vote.

In the 2022 Kansas and the 2023 Ohio elections, both of which had abortion rights on the ballot, there was the highest increase in that age group that helped push those measures over the top. Gettng these voters out to vote in 2024 will likewise make a huge difference, especially in states like Texas.

There are plenty of women who bought the "pro life with exceptions" assuming conditions like Ms. Cox were part of the exceptions, when in fact, they weren't. They were sold a bill of goods and now have the opportunity to rectify it at the ballot box.

I'd be curious to know if Kate Cox - or her husband - voted Republican. If so, I'm curious to know if she will continue to vote that way.

Cornyn finally said something about this. Cruz still hasn’t. Tells reporters to call his press office, they say his press office doesn’t respond.

This is apparently important enough for Cruz to weigh in on though.

A sitting Senator made these remarks. In public, on a public stage.

These people are something else.

It’s disgusting. And no republicans will acknowledge that. They are a completely depraved party.

In a strange way this thread gives me hope. This story highlights how terrible abortion bans are and it’s now so clear that even the trolls are staying away. All the GOP has is Ted Cruz’s middle school remarks. I’m motivated more than ever to get people registered to vote and to the polls. We have the power to stop the ChristoFacists.

Your post says a lot. Your hope and mine scares the GOP; they will keep getting worse this entire election year and if the Democrats win by as big a margin as they should, there will be violence by the GOP.

But hold fast to that hope. We will repudiate fascism.
