Texas judge grants woman’s request for abortion despite state ban

This looks like contempt to me. The judge should throw his fascist ass in jail until he decides he is ready to comply with a lawfully issued order of the court.

It's not just State gov. It's Cruz down to those crazy local councils who are trying to keep women from driving through their town to get an abortion out of state. These are tactics of fascists.

Which is why I call out the idiocy of people who try to claim, with a straight face, that “both sides” are the same. Duck off. They aren’t, not on any issue but especially on this one.

Still waiting for a pro birther to come in and defend this? Where are you people now?

Hellloooooooi? Forced birthers where are you? How can you not be on here bragging about your Ken Paxton super hero gearing up to prosecute this poor women's doc.

This is why I will NEVER, EVER vote for a republican. Not in million years. Nothing you republicans say can ever make me vote for you because this is what you do. You are the party of cruelty, pure and simple.

I am so spitting angry about this I am going to make a donation to an organization that helps women in these fascist states get abortions.

And who does Ken Paxton, vile crook, propose to pay for the hospital costs if this woman is forced to give birth to a baby who will immediately be put into hospice care, if not already dead?

Republicans are ghouls. Outright ghouls.

Thank you! Abortion Access Funds does that. And the Center for Reproductive Rights is who filed the lawsuit on behalf of this woman in Texas. 💪

Thanks. I've donated to Abortion Access Funds before. I will look into the Center for Reproductive Rights.

While Texas women fight for their survival in this way thanks to the abortion ban, it is reassuring that their Senator Raphael Edward Cruz is working on pronoun police legislation …

The DNC should make a political ad about this situation. It’s the future, ladies. The GOP is the party of cruelty and misogyny.

All the recent referendums that have pushed back against this ugly extremism have passed easily in every single state where they have been tested. The voters of this country are well aware of the situation and intend to fight back hard.

And the fascists in the GOP intend to fight back against us. Like they have in Kansas and Ohio (where that poor woman is facing charges for flushing her miscarried fetus). Project 2025 will be used to rout us all if the GOP gets power again.

Sadly voters are STILL not connecting bans with politicians. Ohio elected JD Vance, Kansas reelected Jerry Moran to US Senate w/ 60% of the vote! Maybe this woman can cut an ad similar to that girl in Kentucky. But voters will still refuse to connect Paxton’s cruelty to Ted Cruz. Heck, there are plenty of ppl here still bOtH SiDes and NOT ALL REPUBLICANS.

Yes folks, it is all Republicans.
