Maybe she believed he was cheating. The woman in that video (not Carlee) said something to the effect of “You cheat, I’m leaving like a thief in the night.” Did she create a bogus scenario to test her boyfriend? Would he rescue her like a knight in shining armor?

Another piece of evidence that she might well be low intelligence and high drama, terrible pattern

No one makes it through a nursing program with low intelligence. Stop insulting this woman you know nothing about.

There’s a whole spectrum of nursing programs. She could be in a LPN program which really isn’t too difficult.

Sure because one thing that’s totally likely is that a black person in Alabama would call the cops when they weren’t even necessary - and just for a game. Pfft. Hoover PD seems to have handled this well but if you think calling the cops is any kind of game to black people - you are deep in fantasyland.

Is these people want to trash her they will find a way. Even make up her degree.

If the police believed there was a kidnapper of young women on the loose and/or an endangered young child, there'd be a manhunt right? And that would be impossible to keep quiet. The police know she fabricated an abduction but probably need to get to the bottom of the story before releasing any further statements. Her family and bf are in denial, which is understandable. I can only imagine the fear and shame she is feeling right now. Just an immature person who did something dumb and must now deeply regret it.

You can just direct your response to PP instead of talking about them in the third person.

WTF? She already has a bachelor's degree in psychology. Clearly she is a reasonably intelligent woman. That doesn't mean she may not be suffering from mental health issues, but there is zero reason to doubt that she is book smart.

It’s more than just PP. And it’s more than this thread.

Because those are the only two possible scenarios.

"Carlee planned to party with some friends over the weekend which included a new guy she met online. Carlee would eventually meet him on the side of the express way, ditched her vehicle as well as her belongings, got into a grey sedan with this mystery guy and ended up at the Red Roof partying with a group of people.

The Red Roof manager noticed Carlee as one of the people in the group and alerted the police. Carlee and the mystery man left the Red Roof soon after and a nearby doorbell camera spotted Carlee getting dropped off around the block from her home shortly before arriving back home. (Allegedly)

An alleged person who was with her posted a comment on a video stating that Carlee is going to state she had a mental breakdown and that she was wandering around for 2 days.

This is just what the streets are saying. Y’all think it’s true?"

Why all the mystery to go to a party though? Are her parents really conservative? Does she have a history of poor decision-making?

She has a boyfriend.

How do you explain the lack of a police manhunt? Be specific.

There are several tweets in the last month referencing men who cheat, and then there is a link to a woman telling a man how she would leave him if he cheated on her. "Let me tell you something, you cheat? I'm not even finna be on no rah-dah-dadalala, I'm going to be so player ... I'm going to literally leave in the middle of the night, like a thief in the night. I'm telling you, you gonna come home one day and think everything is g-dd-mn good, and my sh-t is gonna be gone. Youre never gonna be able to locate me." Starts 0:34/1:13

Man, that's eerie. That's from about 5 days before she disappeared.

Wow, this horrible grammar and trying to go to college to be a nurse at 25 what has she been doing for the last 7 years, makes you wonder what the real story is with her mental health!! with this recent mental health episode she shouldn't be working near anyone let alone in care of others as a nurse. This should be noted and barr her from health care jobs.

She has a BA in psychology, probably just accustomed to code-switching in personal vs. professional speech. Not at all uncommon in the Black community. If it turns out to have been a hoax, or a mental health breakdown of some sort, a nursing career will be unlikely.

Multiple personalities?

Nah, it’s like people aren’t cultured at all but put a thin veneer of education/good manners for when they are at work? That’s what it is

The girl is clearly upper middle class for where she lives so I’m not sure what you mean. If anything she is pretending to be something she isn’t on twitter. as a child I knew a lot of kids who grew up wealthy and pretended to be something they weren’t.

UMC doesn’t always mean cultured, it’s not she has nobility or something
'

Out of touch rich mommies don't know what reposting is. That's not Carlee, she reposted something. I'm 46 years old, ladies, even I know this.

Do you also repost dumb videos like she does?

What happens to the $$$ from the GFM?

She was driving a Mercedes at 25 while working at a spa. Maybe she has champagne tastes?

Her family said they do not need a GFM and asked instead that the money be given to the reward fund

Not so judging by some nurses I met

That is not what code switching is.

I know what code switching is. I just don’t have a high opinion of someone who has to really really code switch to interact with the rest of society.

Then you do not know what code switching is. No one has to code switch in order to interact with society.

Okay interact “in a professional, educated manner”.

We really don't know anything yet. I don't know if anyone else listened to the podcast Freeway Phantom, but it had a side story about a rapist (not the Freeway Phantom) who kidnapped, raped, and killed a number of women, but randomly set one of them free for no apparent reason.
