Looks like Amr Elrahimy's brother Sameh Elrahimy has not made a friend with the judge in the previously mentioned "case Go Pro Construction filed against one of his customers. On Thursday the judge gave Sameh Elrahimy and Go Pro Construction seven days to "show cause why sanctions for Go Pro's conduct should not be imposed", explain what sanctions would be permissible "...to deter similar misconduct in the future" and "show cause why the Court should not render a default judgement against Go Pro for its failure to follow Court orders". Appears ignoring court orders a great legal strategy. Will be interesting how this one resolves. Please do not complain the board admin - the source of this information can be found in Document #27, court order, filed in DC Case No 1:22-cv-1643-RCL on 11/09/23. |
Lol I guess the whole family are just... ugh. If I was a current GoPro customer I would see if there were unexpected delays with starting the project, make sure u get manufacturer's receipts for your materials, double check your permits, and keep an eye out for unexpected costs that pops up for no reason. Also don't let them hold your project hostage. Please please do not end up like us with Optimum. |
If I was a Go Pro customer I’d look into breaking the contract NOW…even if I had to seek legal options citing lack of trust/confidence , past/ current Go Pro legal problems, and collusion with Amr/Omar.
Sounds like the brother has problems following court orders. Please keep us updated…please. |
Wasn't that the beginning of the end for amr elrahimy? He was in legal trouble with some homeowners in 2022 and he basically went straight into the toilets after that leading up to the bankruptcy a year later.... I hope the people with GoPro tread very carefully.... |
When did Omar start stealing from Optimum? |
Its hard to say but if u look at the bank information that was part of the discoveries he transferred quite a lot to himself over the years with little to no explanation. You could write that off as him paying for bills out of pocket but you take a step back and it doesn't make sense what he reports as income vs his spending habits. He claimed he only makes about 40k a year but he has 3 kids, a mansion that has a monthly payment of about 5k a month and his 2 Mercedes purchased at a high interest and low down made his monthly for those 2 cars alone 5k so you factor in the other 5 cars and his personal spending takes him way over 10k a month on a 40k salary makes no sense at all. What's even scarier is that he is actively working on new construction projects as a consultant so who knows how much damage he'll continue to do.... |
Kinda makes one wonder why his brother would take him on at his Go Pro business…why would the brother risk getting tarnished by his brother’s reputation? |
I think cuz his brother values family more than amr does. He threw his brother under the bus so hard it's sad just how little amr values anyone other then himself. Like something must have snapped for him to betray his own family the way he did. |
If you read the court cases, while customer related lawsuits go further back, a 2019 case appears to be where things took a turn - IMO. This is where his big plans may have started, a deal called the Clarksburg Room which went south with the landlord. Amr filed suit against his landlord, lost the case, ordered to pay, lost the appeal, and appears to have never paid the court judgement according to court records and references in the bankruptcy filing. So if the downfall was his attempt at creating his corporate empire, this looks to be where it may have started. I wonder if customer funds were being used for this endeavor too, Optimum was clearly involved according the case filings,. I hope the investigations are going back this far. |
What’s u in the civil and the criminal cases? |
Amr elrahimy is pretty much a failed business man. His Clarksburg showroom was that bs wedding venue thing right? Pile that up with the Dubai air bnb, GRIP supercar events, Optimum Construction, Optimum Interiors, and FKB its pretty clear he doesn't understand how to run a successful business. Honestly I'm surprised he hasn't run GoPro into the ground yet... |
What’s up with the criminal cases? |
it's moving forward, it's just Amr Elrahimy has so many layers to the fraud he committed. as much as we would all like it to be over quick so we can move on with our lives the law moves at its own pace. |
Will the poster who has repeatedly advocated in favor of prison rape please stop? I've removed your post three times. I don't know what your obsession with the topic is, but rape is not a joking matter and not something to be wished on anyone. Please keep your fantasies to yourself.

You forgot: Optimum Group Inc, Optimum Investments Inc, Optimum Entertainment Inc and I believe one other car related company. Funny how someone can create all these corporate entities during the same time he was telling customers that he can not continue their projects and was going out of business. I am sure tax returns were filed appropriately for them all. Optimum Construction, Optimum Interiors, Optimum Group, and Grip were all referenced in the bankruptcy hearings. Some had bank accounts, others who knows. But it was clear based on Amr's comments and bank records filed showed that $$ were flowing between them and I suspect that is what enforcement is interested in. Only Optimum Construction has filed bankruptcy. There is an attempt to say Optimum Interiors was just a showroom for Optimum Construction and thus it is part of the bankruptcy - sure we believe that. I wonder what happens if you were a creditor for Optimum Interiors but not included in the bankruptcy? Let the investigators figure that out. ...and an undetermined relationship with Go Pro Construction. We know they worked together when Optimum was operating, and as stated in the 341, a continued relationship for Amr after the bankruptcy. Wonder if Go Pro hired anyone else from Optimum. |
