Canada Truck Convoy, what to think about it?

Oddly, these same people supported one of the most corrupt presidents ever.

Someone upthread claimed the thugs only bring their kids on weekends. I wonder if there are enough foster homes in Canada to house the children of these incompetent parents. Earlier today:

Which is why we have elections. That’s the time to remove the politicians you don’t like. Doing it by violence is insurrection.

I’m funding it. Me and millions of other people.

Why is this not sinking into anyone's head?
There are some truckers there, sure, but those joining them and cheering on them and protesting with them are regular people. People that can't work.
What cost is justified to control the pandemic? How many must go hungry for the safety of the at-risk people? Why can't Canada's provinces manage their health care system better and be able to treat more than 18 patients in ICU that have covid?

Look this is the crazy right wingers and white nationals. They do not care about jobs, covid or the economy. They are destroying the country because they do not want to wear mask and get a vaccine. Why the hell is that so hard? They want to over throw the government and install themselves as dictators.

I don't know who is behind it, who is making the decisions, but I do know that on the weekends they are joined by thousands and thousands of people of all strata and color. Canadians have generally bought into the pandemic and isolated, thought those not staying at home are a danger to public health. There is no way, that those there on their weekends are right-wingers and white nationalists. Absolutely no way. I am there, they are peaceful apart from a few crazies on the weekend. They are not even honking now after the court order.

Say what you will, but these Canadian Parlament debates are some of the best reality TV offered right now!

Time for drones to take over.

Why rely on a bunch of nut jobs for such a core function?

This is the MO of Trudeau and the left..... vilify the truckers - make them evil - to justify taking violent actions against them.
Most are vaccinated. They are tired - like many of the citizens - of the elites handing down mandates and not following them. They want to get back to normal. I can't blame them.
You know the Capitals played in Toronto last night. The venue was void of spectators. This is TWO YEARS into this pandemic. Ridiculous.
This protest is a perfect example of civil disobedience. Much more so that the riots and destruction that happened here in the summer of 2020.
And, they absolutely care about jobs. They care about the jobs of people who have been fired because they haven't gotten the vaccine. They care about the frontline workers (including themselves) who worked tirelessly through the pandemic, many caught the virus, but are now being told if they don't get the jab they can kiss their job goodbye.
You can push a working man just so far until you've pushed him far enough. This is what you are seeing.... push back. Good for them.

A lot of lies in this post, but the worst one is saying most of the truckers are vaccinated. Most of the truckers in Canada are, but these ones are not.

Take a look at yourself in the mirror and ask why you have to lie. Stop lying.

Proof of this statement?

The truckers are a bunch of unemployed, ignorant losers who are hurting the public in a myriad of ways.

They are the furthest thing from heroes.

No, they are not unemployed. And, they are not losers.
And, shall we count the number of people who were unable to say goodbye to loved ones because of the lock downs?

The people at these protests are not even truckers! The trucking union has already come out and said the protests are being led & funded & attended by people not even associated with the trucking industry. Are there trucks there? Yes. But most truckers in Canada are just trying to work this week.

The protest is a bunch of right wing hustlers purposely trying to bring the economy to its knees.
