Canada Truck Convoy, what to think about it?

Canada lost 3 million jobs due to the pandemic. Or rather because of the lockdowns put in place to control the pandemic. 200K just this past January due to omicron lockdown.
Why is this not sinking into anyone's head?
There are some truckers there, sure, but those joining them and cheering on them and protesting with them are regular people. People that can't work.
What cost is justified to control the pandemic? How many must go hungry for the safety of the at-risk people? Why can't Canada's provinces manage their health care system better and be able to treat more than 18 patients in ICU that have covid?

Canada has a service industry primarily, 70%. And it doesn't pay that well. Many Canadians and their immigrants can't find jobs that provide a decent living, and they take a lot of immigrants to instill.
So, two years into a pandemic, Canada has locked down even after telling everyone once you are vaccinated, we will not lockdown. They let truckers drive unvaccinated this long, but now they must be vaccinated?
And the lockdown that was not going to happen again? Well, they went back on ti and lockdown they did. Pandemic is winding down in many places, apart from a few covid anxious people on dcum, I think we can all agree that one way or another, it is not a threat it was in 2020. And, just like in the U.S., regular Canadians are watching huge business benefit in Canada and stay open. Planes are full of people, huge stores are open, as is LCBO, but the small restaurants and the yoga parlor and school are closed. But, now it is not the "immigrants" doing it, taking their jobs away.
It is the government. People are realizing this and saying, eh, no. It is not the poor immigrant chap's fault I have to wear a mask. It is yours, Trudeau or Macron.
And they are right. Bcs we all know, our politicians are paid by lobbies, by donations that get them elected. By pharma companies.
And now, the Ambassador Bridge is closed. It must be opened, BCS it impacts... yep, huge automotive industry. These "people" have realized that they do have power. They might not realize to which extent they have it,
But, IMO, the tide is turning; the working poor in the "free" world had enough. It might not explode this year or the next, but this has every sign of the rest of the order.

Anyway, this is just what I was thinking; I might be wrong.

I stopped reading when you said the growing poor were responsible for Trump. Nope, that was not the case, at all.

Ok, sure, who was responsible for Trump? I don't mean that I actually said the poor are responsible for Trump, or perhaps I expressed myself wrong. I mean movements like Trump's are a way to redirect the range of the growing poor to someone else to blame, such as immigrants and nationalism, such as Trumps, are encouraged to take root, so that the rich can stay in power.
Who/what is responsible for Trump or the rise of more and more Trump like figures in the world?

Why aren’t those kids in school? Schools are open in Ontario.

Canada is losing even more jobs due to the supply and transportation disruption these truckers are senselessly causing...

The truckers are literally destroying the ability to run a business wherever they go. How can you use the plight of the jobless as a cheap attempt to pander and spread propaganda in light of this fact?

Look this is the crazy right wingers and white nationals. They do not care about jobs, covid or the economy. They are destroying the country because they do not want to wear mask and get a vaccine. Most of the people controlling this protest are not truckers. Someone is funding this and it is a willful act to disrupt supply chains both in Canada and the US. And they will blame Biden for it, of course.
