Fire in upper NW?

This is the same guy that STILL occasionally goes to basketball games with a white board and heckles the opposing team. He was interviewed by the sports junkies for 40 minutes??? Their last high profile 'national news' guest was ex Toronto mayor Rob Ford, this guys is a total attention whore. 0.00% credibility, he's not even hired by Wint to defend him. Wint is an uneducated murderer at best, but even he knows Ficker is a clown.

In a statement sent to FOX 5, Julia Leighton, general counsel for the Public Defender Service, said:

“The Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (PDS) represents Daron Wint. Attorney Robin Ficker does not represent Mr. Wint and Mr. Wint has no intention of hiring Mr. Ficker. Mr. Ficker does not speak for Mr. Wint and he does not speak for Mr. Wint's PDS attorneys. PDS has no further comment for the press. PDS's efforts are focused solely on investigation, litigation, and securing a successful outcome for Mr. Wint.”

From last night's fox5 report:

* the land rover, audi and range rover were towed away by police earlier this week and then towed back to the house. they were put back inside the crime scene tape whereas before the land rover was parked on the street.
* police worked the safe in the garage for a while but did not open it while crews were filming
* two women spent time going through papers from what appeared to be a home office. some papers were then removed

I saw the report. The Mosler is right there IN the garage. It's red.

Separately, a garage safe seems odd. Wouldn't it be better to keep valuables in an interior location?

In terms of investigation taking a long time, I'm guessing the police want to ensure their case is airtight.

Actually old large safes are often kept in garages. They are huge and very heavy. Garage is the best place.

AH okay. They mention it specifically. I had only read the articles, not read the report. Thank you.

Bentley is in the left bay of garage, Mosley in the right bay.

9:25 why would you say bug off? The size of the safe is the size of a safe used for hunting rifles...he also used swords in his martial arts practice. The swords even if not sharpened blade are still sharp and dangerous. It has been also documented that he had a gun. I do not know if he hunted doves or what. That IS a gun safe. Maybe it was there when they moved in, but it is there. The police made a point of showing it.
so you bug off, something tells me that some of you on these boards are not willing to acknowledge some unusual stuff...
Gun or guns, cars licensed in multiple states?, hiring of those with dangerous criminal records, racing, martial arts using swords, cash business, off shore banking...perhaps perfectly legal...as previously discussed... what else? So you bug off. It will come out whatever it is...pretending this is a low key, low risk situation here is...um...for lack of a better word....denial. Trying to understand what a possible motive is here or what else may have been going on aside from the obvious... It is most definitely not "normal" and not "normal" for the top 1%. High risk behaviors at the very least...any one of the items involves risk, all combined...well...no wonder people are rivited.

The Daily Mail has been doing a much better job than the Wa Po in this case...so, time to read the article

Does anyone else find it strange that the detectives looking at the safe in the garage and examining documents in the upstairs bedroom were not more discreet?

Why would they allow themselves to be filmed and watched during an investigation ? Isn't this highly sensitive information?

They could easily have shut the garage door while looking at the safe and closed the window coverings while looking at documents.

Doesn't that seem odd, or unprofessional?

Or is it just me?
