Right. It needs to be more expensive so only highly refined people like you can partake. |
God forbid a poor get to travel to visit family. Just stay home, poors! |

Stockings and pantyhose are a bad idea from a safety standpoint. High heat will melt them onto skin and make burns much worse.
Heels on an inflatable slide also seems like a bad idea. |
My mom used to ALWAYS wear a skirt and hose for flying (back in the 1980s and into the early 90s.) I kept saying that trying to get panty hose off and on in an airport bathroom is a special kind of torture. The only time I've really been irked at someoen's airplane gear was a young woman wearing a micromini skirt on a flight to a vacation area -- she had the window seat and had to scooch by me to get out to use the bathroom and my face was literally in her underwear. I would have been much happier had she been wearing PJ pants. So long as the clothes aren't smelly and cover up their private parts, I'm fine with whatever people want to wear. |
When I went to college in 1990, my roundtrip flights from a small airport out west to a small airport in the East were almost $1,000. That would be $2,480 in today's dollars. I remember how much they were because I couldn't afford to come home for breaks, and I was scrounging for every discount with getting student credit cards and so forth. Now my kid is like "oh, I think I'll fly half way across the country to go to a concert with a friend" and it's not that big a deal. And she can change flights! If I had to change a flight in 1990, it was like you needed to sell a family heirloom to afford the change fees. |
Yes, it should be limited to the sort of trashy people who treat service workers as inferiors. |
And Hegseth's speech go the troops was all about appearance. They are not good looking people and they are the ones who wear pajamas. They think the whole world needs help but it's mostly them who do. |
Or you know, just behave! Have you seen the people on youtube screaming at gate agents and having to be removed from the airport by security? They are always wearing skimpy clothes with too much skin showing, often have tattoos and otherwise just look trashy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJ3lOH3MuCc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W-nLd4qkz4 And lots more like these. I don't want to travel with these people. |
And now people complain about climate change while flying to concerts. |
| He must be trolling us all with this preaching about civility on airplanes less than a week after “Quiet Piggy.” |
| Add this to the many common-sense positions that Democrats feel compelled to oppose, and which will make more moderates think Democrats are crazy. |
Being pro personal freedom is a Democratic position, I guess. Ladies and gentlemen, behold the Conservative party of living your life their (very rigidly defined) way or the highway! |
How very MAGA of you to not understand that it’s about the lack of substance and seriousness as well as the hypocrisy and condescension. It’s not actually about pajamas. |
| Being a frumpy, disheveled slob in pajamas isn’t against the law, it’s just low rent. |
its a common sense position that the government should dictate, beyond "decency" what a person can or cannot wear? Please show your notes on that claim. |
