Great suggestion, thanks |
Then rent the room for another night. Don't you think everyone in the hotel would like the same thing? Why should you be the special one? |
| I would be annoyed too if I was told specifically to call at 6am and when I did, was told they won't know until after 8 am. Unless they were apologetic and admitted they had been wrong to ask me to call so early. |
Platinum is in the center position on Marriott's status system, hence mid-tier. For United Airlines, Platinum happens also to be mid-tier -- below Global Services and 1K but above silver and gold. |
No. Wants a 3pm checkout (same as std check in time) from a 12 noon std checkout. 12 noon std checkout is pretty common. |
Uh, those are the same apples. She wants 3 hours, no matter what time. Will never happen and might even turn hotel staff off so they reject her outright. DP. |
I said that because I was told it by hotel staff once upon a time. It was probably 15+ years ago, though. Post-Covid, I've gotten late checkout 90+% of the times I've requested it. I usually ask in the late evening and have only been told to check in the morning once or twice. Typically just want noon, although once I asked for and got 1:00 at a Hilton Garden Inn. I have Silver or Silver Elite (I think ?) status with Hilton and IHG, whatever tier requires 10 nights but fewer than or 20 or 30. |
Oops, I meant the latest I've gotten is 2:00 at Holiday Inn Express, although I actually left at 1:30. |
not LEGOLAND! |
