| If you want one on one time with her, schedule a time to go out just the two of you. She's going to be distracted around her toddler and then tired after putting the kid to bed. Why not talk to her spouse and make sure he can take the kid so you can do an outing? |

| When my kids were young, I loved having normal conversations about other things. It’s crazy to let your kids consume all your time. Kids don’t need to be the centre of your universe all the time. Even toddlers can keep themselves busy and play with stuff on their own for 15-20 minutes while you are of course keeping a close eye on them |
