Do you think he'd have picked Duke if he'd been accepted in April?

It’s very possible, would have required a revisit. Duke has attributes that his current school doesn’t (sports, weather, limited campus protests)

Are you being snarky or is there a legit source for this? Didn’t have a kid this cycle, but sure makes you wonder with current state of affairs if they force some more triples to make up some loss!

Brown seems to have done that.

The campus protest is way overblown except maybe Columbia, wouldn’t decide based on that.

It’s an important factor for us, I’ll leave it at that.

Honestly, I'd switch then.

Thank you. The campus was rocky this year but changes are in place that look promising.

What do you think this may mean for incoming seniors? Will Duke accept more international students to make up for the reduced number enrolling this year? Or will they assume the issues with international students will continue and possibly accept more U.S. students?

It’s all so volatile, my guess is no plan any which way as of now.

Honestly, could mean smaller freshman admits all around if they have so many kids who deferred to next year.

No idea. I doubt they even know at this point.

I think Duke is finding itself in the same spot as schools like Michigan, but they are a month+ behind the curve.
