Our ES is the opposite of Title I (like a 3% low income population) and from what I've heard, it's a long standing tradition - I remember them doing it when my 8th grader was in K.

We did this when I was in high school (not in FCPS), too!

We're in the Oakton pyramid and kids came to our ES last year.

Marshall HS and Falls Church HS participate in this tradition as well.

I teach ES in the Centreville pyramid and we definitely have this tradition. It’s great to see former students.
