Bs, I am a woman, mother of four, wife and caregiver of two senior parents and I have a PHD. Sick of you lazy women using pregnancy as though it's a disability. |
Pregnancy IS A DISABILITY dummy |
| Gay men flee economically dead conservative small towns to the liberal cities where economic advancement is possible. |
|
I also think maybe gay men are more resilient because they get put through hell as teens and know their ticket out is money and independence. |
Nice selection bias you've got there. |
There is no such thing as cis...? You know cis is simply the opposite prefix of trans, right? That's like saying "hetero" doesn't exist, or for that matter that "pre" doesn't exist. But hey, if you don't believe that "cis" exists, then everyone must be trans, since trans has no opposite. I'm glad you are trans and proud! Fly that trans pride flag high since you're trans! |
I wrote the post about hedonism but there is also this and I think it’s huge, people that have gone through the wringer and come out the other side have grit and that grit will make you successful no matter what it is you do. |
Right? That PP is just another privileged clueless woman who was fortunate enough to have the money and support to pursue a PhD. It's probably in Psych anyway, which doesn't count. |
If white men were being openly discriminated against in HR settings for 20 years, wouldn't we be seeing more women and BIPOC C-suite types by now? We aren't, though, as evidenced by the graphic above. White men claim they are being discriminated against, but it's all vibes. On the metrics, they continue to rise faster and higher than any other group. |
Your argument is completely illogical. And in fact, it contrast with "trans" but is not exactly the opposite of. It came in to use only to make trans people feel as mainstream as people who not trans. Those of us who are not trans simply do not believe we have to be called "cis" now. People are especially applying it to women, far more than men, which is really just another way of white males to trample all over us and our rights. To the mom who said now her gay child can have more friends because they'll be friend with "girls." I just have to say, I was friends with many gay men when I was younger, but I learned over time, most them secretly--or not even so secretly--hate women. Almost every single one of my so-called "friends" who were gay men, I saw over and over, just treated their female friends with such derision and contempt. I finally asked one of my gay friends who didn't and he said, "don't you know, most gay men just think they are smarter, more interesting, and generally better than most women." It explained a lot. |
| All the gay men I know are not doing well at all beyond maybe monetarily. They aren't the type of people I enjoy hanging out with. Tons of depression, bipolar disorder, etc. All I've met have some sort of personality disorder and put sex at the center of their lives. |
pretty much. being a white guy used to be a privilege and a foot in the door. but even with sports, white guys are becoming rarer and rarer. the top qbs drafted in 2023 and 2024 were black. baseball is now overwhelmingly dominated by hispanic and lationo men. basketball has been dominated by black guys for years and remains that way. hockey remains a white sport along with lacrosse, but most people don't consider major league lacrosse to be a 'real' major league sport. companies can't have too many white guys on a team, or the optics look bad. i've been part of a hiring committee where the statement "yeah, but he's white" has been the only reason why they were excluded when we were down to our top 3 candidates. how is that not discrimination? it is imo! it's getting to a point where being a white guy is a hindrance instead of a privilege. |
| A very successful and pretty famous gay man with a circle of similarly successful gay friends once said to me that he believes gay men are often successful type a personality because they are seeking approval and acceptance |
Wtf kind of homophobic bullsh*t did I just read? |
