Chances that school will be canceled tomorrow?

DC schools are always last to announce school closings due to snow. I’ve been in DC for so long and it hasn’t changed. I really wish it would.

We should be thinking about the safety of the students and the teachers. What purpose will it serve, one day closing cannot definitely destroy academic progress.

Since when did DCPS do that? Of all the school systems in the region, DCPS is the least likely to close.

DP but it was like 4-5 years ago. It would supposed to be ice and it ended up just raining. I think that’s why they are so conservative now. They want to make sure it’s actually going to do whatever the forecast says

I know that's what the calendar says, but I have to think they will bump the June 18 teacher work day to the 20th and have the last day for students be June 18.
