Kat Von D renounces occult and gets baptized

That type of personality seems to be very welcome in the evangelical world, however. It sounds like she found where she belongs. I doubt she’ll find happiness, but she’ll find belonging and that provides its own comfort.

She was an anti-Semite when she was a witch.

Now she’s a Christian-definitely not an evangelical- and seen the error of her ways.

Is anti-Semitism big in the witch world?

I said she was an attention seeker and her attitudes were decidedly anti-Wiccan. I don’t know if Jew hate is a common feature among real witches, but I do know several practicing Wiccans who married Jews so I’m guessing not. I do know many practicing Christians who are anti-Semite, however.

So it’s very possible witches are proponents of Jew hate?

I know many practicing Jewish people who are anti-Christian. It’s unfortunate when people hate other people because of their religious views.

when you repent and turn away from things that are not of God the angels in heaven rejoice ! when you Renounce sin (repent ) you become new!when turning away from things such as witchcraft and so on, it cleanses your soul! and you or your family are no longer bound or cursed by evil spirits. so one or many should be happy and rejoice as well for a persons soul turning to something good rther then something evil!

Soooooo many bad influences in this world. The devil lurks everywhere.
Glad she had an awakening and now seeks “love and light”. Hope she inspires some of her followers to do the same

Ask Satanic Temple founder Lucien Greaves about anti-semitism. He's expert in dishing it out.

I agree with others that certain personalities just go to extremes in a search for their identity and as a cure for their inner sense of dread. They look for external sources of authority who can reassure them and provide the psychological framework they seem to lack. And while becoming Christian seems like a good thing to westerners steeped in a biblical interpretation of good vs evil, I think it's correct to see it as swinging from one extreme to the other. It's just a different cult. I hope she finds inner peace eventually.

Are you the poster who would rather have their aunt die than become a Christian?

Why would you rather have your aunt die in the streets, in a drug house, etc, alone and addicted to drugs (what what was your aunt addicted to? Heroin? Meth? Pills?)

Let’s be real: anyone who wishes a family member would die from an overdose rather than doing a 12 step program, becoming Christian, and saving their life is a selfish bigot who has either sociopathic or pathological (or both) tendencies.

anyone who would admit freely to others that yeah, piss off and die Aunt Sally, I’ll gladly see you face down in an alley with a needle in your arm before you get clean and live a happy, productive, drug free life is really awful and evil.

PP you replied to.

NO, I AM NOT THAT POSTER. I come from a Catholic family.

Maybe wait for me to reply before going off on a hate-filled rant. The way you treat others puts you at the same level as whoever you're ranting about.

Found the ex-Catholic who hates Christians.

I assume that she has changed her life because she’s a mother now. If she was anti-semitic and not a good person earlier in her life, she has obviously changed for the better.

Judging from the religious fervor of some of our politicians, I don't believe that at all.

DP: No idea who this person is, but my first thought was that she must be planning on running for office.

You don't know who this person is, but decided to bump a month old thread? Right, right.
