If Brendan Banfield has even a smidge of care left for his daughter he would take a plea and spare even more trauma by going to trial. Sadly that’s most likely not the case, it never was.

Great point.

If his family is reading- please do the right thing.

I noticed that article and other news articles are stating that Juliana's sentencing is still scheduled for March 2025. However, I would assume that with BB's trial being pushed back to October, her sentencing will also be pushed back to assure her cooperation with testifying against him. I am still angry that they are recommending she only be sentenced to time served.

The True Suspense podcast has been covering the case and promised trial coverage as well--available at www.truesuspense.com and most podcast sites.

Will she at least be immediately deported and barred from reentry?

Sucks for her that the trial is pushed back. That’s at least another 6 months she’ll be sitting in US jail before she can be deported.

He brought a man with a rape fantasy to his home as part of his scheme to murder his wife and said man with the help of the nanny-mistress. He left his tiny daughter in the basement with an iPad during the murder. I think it’s safe to say he has no care for her whatsoever.

Was that in official pleadings or are you just repeating what some on DCUM have hypothesized?

I can't imagine that they would allow her to get by with just 1.5-2 yrs of jail for her part in killing two innocent people. That seems really extreme... but with Descano, I guess it's possible... ????

Can you point to where Fairfax County is recommending time served for JPM?

Here is a link to an article that states prosecutors are recommending a sentence of time served for Juliana. I've read the same on multiple reputable news outlets. However, I think ultimately it will be up to the judge whenever she is officially sentenced. For the charge of manslaughter, she can face up to 10 years in prison.

It’s Joe’s birthday today. He was loved deeply, is loved, and I miss him very much.
