He only did a limited scope of travel ban and NOTHING else. It does make you wonder what his true motive or his limited understanding of a pandemic was. Why didn't he do anything else such as testing, testing and preparing for medical supplies? Italy did a much stronger travel ban three days before Trump's. It did absolutely nothing. Without widespread testing and information sharing we are certainly undercounting. For instance, in NYC around 20-25 people die at home per day on average. That number is now over 200 dying at home every single day and they are not being reported as Covid19 deaths because they don’t have the capacity to test (combination of test availability and the ME just being plain overwhelmed)
