| I thought Trump was president - why isn't he making America's cities safer for residents? Seems like he's got more power to do it than a member of Congress (as opposed to, say, a mayor). |
He’s a bigoted blowhard. He is too busy lining his families pockets to care about leading a Nation. There is no complex thought in his addled mind. |
Too busy bringing black unemployment to historic lows. Cummings has time for ivanka’s emails but not Baltimore. Sad. |
you keep trying this line. i'm sure it's very persuasive with trump's uneducated base. not so much with anyone else. |
|
He needs to get kushner to fix up his apartments. First son in law is a slumlord.
you know I think the Trump family is not bringing their best. They're bringing their slumlords and racists and liars and cheats. And I'm sure a few of them are very fine people. https://www.propublica.org/article/the-beleaguered-tenants-of-kushnerville?fbclid=IwAR0KBJAd7s23O8tJnDuRPYkF2UtOrnLKMeVtE2ON6ykCRdkOlTcYrY3e2wA |
Sure, dude. Just like how when Obama was president, everything bad was his fault, but now that Trump is president, everything bad is someone else's fault. Not buying it. |
Too many fat people and tobacco use in the latter two to be useful models. Park city actually would be the best model. Liberal, clean, fit. |
lol so basically get rid of poor people |
Trumpsters have told us the murder rate is down under Trump, PERIOD. So your point is moot. |
Manhattan. Lots of culture, easy to get around, great places to eat, so much to do and see. When I lived there I'd walk home by myself at 2 in the morning and never had any issues with crime. I lived over off 8th Avenue and 14th. |
Wait, are you saying that Donald Trump WASN'T talking about rats after all?? That he was talking about crime, committed by human beings? But that doesn't go along with the narrative that he was ONLY talking about the rat infestations. |
| I never heard of the term rat infestations to describe blacks. A new stretching |
|
Blow's column in NYT should be read by every American. Trump's rhetoric is truly dangerous.
"This talk of infestation is telling, because he only seems to apply it to issues concerning black and brown people. He has sniped about the “Ebola infested areas of Africa.” He has called Congressman John Lewis’s Atlanta district “crime infested” as well as telling him to focus on “the burning and crime infested inner-cities of the U.S.” He has called sanctuary cities a “crime infested & breeding concept.” He has talked about how “illegal immigrants” will “pour into and infest our Country.” He has called the presence of the MS-13 gang members “in certain parts of our country” an “infestation.” None of this is about crime as a discrete phenomenon, but rather about inextricably linking criminality to blackness. White supremacy isn’t necessarily about rendering white people as superhuman; it is just as often about rendering nonwhite people as subhuman. Either way the hierarchy is established, with whiteness assuming the superior position." |
So said the Germans duringWW2 |
There’s hyperbole and there’s flat out lies. This fits the latter. |
