309 homicides in 2018.

I thought you people have been telling us that under Trump and with easy access to guns that rates of violent crimes are down. Which is it?

This is a failure on Trump. He promised to end American carnage. Turns out, he'd rather just golf.

Cummings’ district encompasses a lot more than Baltimore. What specifically did Trump say that made you think he was referring to Baltimore?

Because Howard County is a decent place to live and is doing better than many red counties.

I am glad some of you are noticing Baltimore. NO ONE cared how the citizens were hurting last election. The Zero Tolerance and the 1994 Crime Bill hurt he community and you ALL sat back and watched as others wondered what the hell you all were thinking?!?!

This President - despite all of his horrible choices of words - cares about the community most heavily impacted by an unfair criminal justice system.

Michelle Obama had the perfect comeback, without even mentioning Trump or the tweet.

On #NationalDanceDay, I'm shouting out the Lethal Ladies, a Baltimore STEP team who I saw perform back in 2017. I’m so proud of you all—and everyone who’s dancing today!

And the same exact language Trump used about John Lewis‘s district in Atlanta two years ago.

And about the districts represented by Ocasio-Cortez, Pressley, Tlaib and Omar a week ago.

What could these lawmakers possibly have in common?! I'm having a hard time connecting the dots.

Well, sadly trump called the Mexican population a bunch of racists when he announced he was running for president. People who voted for Trump knew exactly what his character was like.

No he does not. He does not. Nope. He has a visceral reaction of disgust to urban communities in crisis.

Or show us the videos of him going to visit communities such as the neighborhoods in Baltimore he is slamming as hell holes where "no human being would want to live." Please, I'd like to see him meeting with people in such communities, in those communities.

I was told he alone can fix it.

You are unironically producing the map of the gerrymandered district to prove some obtuse point?!??!? Of course, Howard is a nice county. Chairman Cummings is most closely identified as being a Rep from Baltimore. Nothing nefarious here.

Dude, stop trying too hard. No one, and I mean absolutely no one, believes Trump cares about poor African Americans.

You know what? At least he and others in the GOP are trying to move the needle.

Trump didn’t say Baltimore, he said Cummings’ district. Which includes Howard county.

Into the arms of black death row inmates. For sure.

The President and Members cares about the residents enough to pay the First Step Act. I think that speaks volumes.

Is it a stretch to claim the conditions on the border in the CBP facilities are cleaner and better maintained than a city with a well-documented corrupt government?

No one is arguing that Baliptimore is crime free. People are afgung that you don’t refer to human beings as cockroaches.

He didn't refer to human beings as cockroaches. Cummings did demean our CBP. Repeatedly. And questioned their legitimacy. So there is that.

CBP just held an American citizen 9 year old for 32 hours because she gave “inconsistent answers” and they didn’t think she looked like her photo. I’d love to know what your 9 year old would say if CBP picked them up on the way to school.

This comes a couple days after an Maerican citizen held by CBP for 23 hours was held. Having not been given a shower for 23 days and starved.

And at the same time and the conditions of CBP facilities are finally becoming known.

And FB groups with thousands of employees— including the head of CBP— was found to be posting noxious stiff about members of Congress, migrants, and dead children.

You don’t think there is a problem at CBP? There are huge, unaddressed systemic problems with their culture. And before you answer, remember you wanted to disband IRS because a single employee was denying tax exempt status to Con groups.
