Is Prince William jealous of Harry and Meghan's popularity?

William and Kate have 50 years of engagements ahead of them, assuming they have the longevity of their ancestors.

They have plenty of time. Kate is focusing on her young children while they are still at home with her -- she is not in a race.

Diana hit her prime after her children left the nest.

Diana died when Harry was 12 and William was 15. She was younger than William and Kate are now. So I'm not sure you have any idea about royal life at all.

PP is correct. Diana really started doing things after her boys went to boarding school.

A - That isn’t leaving the nest. B - Diana had 300 documented engagements the year she gave birth to Harry. So you’re both wrong. Idiots.

What a class act you are! Please link to said 300 events. Kate is not equal to Diana as a reference point -- Camilla is. Camilla is married to the Prince of Wales.

Boarding school can be considered leaving the nest.

I'm not sure sure where you're going with that. You do realize that Diana was Prince William's mother right? As such she was also married to the Prince Of Wales? But if you really want Camilla's numbers, she's outpaced Kate in engagements 3-to-1. No I'm not going to link it for you, look it up.

But here is the lovely article on how much Wills & Kate have been slammed for slacking off including how hard Diana worked with newborns and toddlers:

Kate and William are slammed for doing HALF the official engagements Charles and Diana did at the same age
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4077950/Kate-William-slammed-doing-HALF-official-engagements-Charles-Diana-did-age.html

Also do you feel like more of an idiot now or is this just your everyday mindset?

To spell this out for you --- you should be comparing numbers of engagements of Camilla and Diana, as both were/are married to the Prince of Wales, as next to be King. Kate is not in the same position at this point as Diana was. Kate is not next in line to be queen. Why do you keep comparing Kate with Diana? Again, WTH, I know that Diana was William's mother.

Got it. Don’t compare Kate to anyone because she’s too slow to match her dead mother-in-law, pregnant sister-in-law, or current stepmother-in-law.

She doesn't have to "match" anyone. One day she'll be Queen, not you.

Can you imagine sending your 2nd grader off to boarding school and required summer overseas immersions, never to tuck them in at night or be there to hear what happened in school that day?

Kate and Will need to soak up every moment they have with those three, before handing them off to strangers.

I also wonder how Meghan will end up handling that.

Sending your kid off to boarding school is very un American. I would think this would be the most difficult thing to agree to for an American marrying into the royal family.

I went to the oldest boarding school in America - you really have no idea about the wealth available to certain classes in the states.

I am sure there is extraordinary wealth there.

But boarding schools are a very un American concept, particularly for the middle and upper middle class.

Meghan was raised middle class (or trailer park depending on which relatives you are looking at).

As someone with a middle class upbringing, she is going to struggle dearly with handing off her 8 year old to be raised by strangers, and only being a mom a couple of days out of the year.

The great thing about being American? Class isn’t a barrier to status. It’s why Meghan transitioned so easily into the royal family. As did Grace Kelly. Take your classism elsewhere.

That is true. Class is not a barrier to success. But some things, like sending a little kid to boarding school, will be culturally exceptionally difficult if not impossible for most Americans to do.

History has yet to tell us whether Meghan has transitioned easily into the British royal family.

And we will not know for another 8 years or so whether sending away her kids to strangers will be a line in the sand for her.

I think adjusting to the Royal family has already been difficult for her.

Meghan does NOT have to send her kid to boarding school. Charles actually good have gone to school locally and lived in the palace but it was Phillip who insisted on sending him to Scotland. All the top boarding schools usually offer acceptance to "day students"- no reason they won't do that. They really are in a better position than William and Kate to make different choices.

But Phillip insisted because the Queen’s education was sorely lacking. Reporters gloss over it now but she couldn’t even hold a proper dinner conversation on politics or foreign affairs when she became monarch. She had really good Prime Ministers who ran the nation without interference then.

I'm sorry but W+K are just weird. I can't wait to see H+M out in public with their twins everywhere.

Princess Charlene of Monaco with her two three-year-olds at a rugby tournament yesterday are just too adorable.

That’s your opinion not a fact. Learn the difference. I think that taking care of three kids under 5 is a hell of a lot of work.

No one cares what the first PP thinks. Kate is spending time being a parent. That’s her decision and most people think it’s a good one.

You have no idea what most people think about Kate.

You are beating a dead horse here. Kate is doing just fine and you can't stand it. It eats you up that you're hero Meghan will always be a distant second.

PP here. Lady, you are crazy. What I stated was a fact. You have no idea what most people think about Kate. You also have no idea what most people think about strawberry ice cream, unicorns, or the chance that the Cubs will win the World Series. You sound like a totally nutty head case when you talk like you know what "most people" think about Kate.

Why does that person keep posting that Meghan is having twins?

She is not showing like someone carrying twins.

The National Enquirer said so, so it must be true.

Lol what do you think the poll people keep posting measures? The stupidity is mind boggling here. The people are a-ok with Kate, psychos here aren’t.

Ugh. She has dead sad eyes married to a toad looking husband. No match for the stunning Kate and Meaghan. I think both pairs, W+K and H+M, look great.

Camilla is an unfortunately bad looking woman who always looked like an old crone. The good part is that now that she is aged, she looks the same as when she was young. Bad looking people are blessed because their looks cannot become worse.
